Hello everyone 🌿

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately as I’ve been moving through a season of transition, settling into a new space, and tending to life offline. While I haven’t had as much time to share here recently, I’m looking forward to slowly becoming more present in this space again soon 🤎

I stare at you in awe.
I sing to you through the hard days and the beautiful ones.
I orbit around your laughter, your needs, your tiny hands reaching for mine.
And somehow, in loving you, I found parts of myself I never knew existed.

Motherhood has stretched me, softened me, humbled me, and healed me all at once. There is nothing in this world more sacred to me than being your mom.

And to every mother watching this —
the ones in the newborn trenches, the ones raising wild toddlers, loving children they grew themselves or chose with their whole heart, the exhausted mothers, the grieving mothers, the healing mothers, the mothers doing their best quietly every single day…

You are seen.
You are extraordinary.
And the love you pour into your children matters more than words can hold.

There’s something so sacred about being handed a brand new baby for the first time.

Not because they’re mine, but because for a brief moment I’m trusted to hold someone’s whole world.

World Doula Week always reminds me that this work isn’t just about birth. It’s about presence, trust, and the quiet, in between moments. The soft handoffs. The tearful smiles. The way a mother looks at her baby, and the way I get to witness it all unfold.

Holding your newborn is never something I take lightly. It’s an honor I carry with so much gratitude! To be invited into such a tender, life changing space.

Six months with you, Arthur 🤍

Six months since the day you entered this world in the most peaceful, powerful way, right at home, surrounded by love. A day I’ll carry with me forever.

Six months of learning you.
Six months of breastfeeding on demand, of slowing down and tuning into your rhythm instead of the world’s.
Six months of watching you grow from a tiny newborn into this curious, bright little soul with the sweetest smile.

And somewhere in these past six months… I’ve been finding myself again too.

Motherhood the third time around feels different. There’s a deeper trust, a softer pace, a quiet confidence I didn’t always have before. And still, you’ve stretched me, grounded me, and reminded me to be present in a way only you could.

It hasn’t all been easy, but it’s been so deeply worth it.

You are so loved, sweet boy. Thank you for choosing me, for teaching me, and for growing me right alongside you.

It’s a calming presence.
It’s connection.
It’s staying close when things feel intense.

Today, I had the honor of supporting this incredible couple as they welcomed their son earth side.
& truly… one of the most powerful parts of the room today was them.

Watching their connection - steady, grounded, in it together, while I quietly held space for their tender moment to unfold.
That’s the kind of support that changes a birth experience.

In a room full of monitors and clinical routines.
This is what keeps birth human.

Partners aren’t “just there.”
They are not replaced by your doula.
They’re everything.

There is something so pure about a baby who falls asleep at the breast 😇✨jaw relaxed, hands soft, body fully surrendered. This is more than feeding. This is regulation. Warmth. Safety. Nervous system co-regulation in its purest form.

A sleeping latched baby doesn’t mean you’re a “human pacifier.”
It means your baby feels secure.
It means their body trusts yours.
It means their needs are being met — nourishment and comfort intertwined, just as nature intended.

Breastfeeding isn’t only about ounces transferred. It’s about connection, hormones flowing, heart rates syncing, and tiny bodies learning the world is a safe place to land.

If your baby loves to fall asleep at the breast, you’re not doing it wrong 🤍 You’re responding. You’re regulating. You’re mothering.
