Depression can look different for everyone. For some, it shows up as deep sadness; for others, it may feel like numbness, exhaustion, or losing interest in things they once loved. From mild to more severe experiences, each person’s journey is valid and unique. Understanding the signs and symptoms can help us lead with empathy, reduce stigma, and support those who may be silently struggling. Whether it’s changes in sleep, energy, concentration, or mood, every signal matters. Strong dads don’t have to have all the answers, but they do show up, listen, and aren’t afraid to talk about feelings.

When dads model emotional honesty, kids learn that it’s safe to express themselves, build trust, and develop healthy ways to cope with life’s challenges.

Sometimes strength sounds like:
“I’m having a tough day, but I’m working through it.”
That kind of honesty makes a lasting impact.

Please join our friends at- Jones Community Solutions- for a Supervisor Training- Coming NEXT WEEK!!!

This peer-led, recovery-centered training is designed for individuals who are currently supervising Peer Specialists or preparing to step into that role.

Training Details

Dates: Monday, June 1 – Friday, June 5, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (daily)
Format: Virtual (20 hours total over 5 days)
Requirement: Full attendance is required to receive a certificate of completion
Exam: None
Required Orientation (1 hour, virtual)

You must attend one orientation session prior to the start of training. You may choose from the following options during registration:

Friday, May 29 at 2:00 PM
Sunday, May 31 at 5:00 PM
Certification Requirement

After registering, you will need to provide proof that you are a Certified Peer Specialist.
Please submit the letter you received from the Health Care Authority confirming that you passed the state exam. Email it to [email protected]
