Orgel Chiropractic and Functional Health

Orgel Chiropractic and Functional Health Orgel Chiropractic and Functional Health supports the body’s innate ability to heal and thrive. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to true wellness.

Care focuses on optimizing function, enhancing vitality and building resilience for infants, children, perinatal, athletes, and wellness-focused individuals. At Orgel Chiropractic and Functional Health, we believe that healing is innate. The ability to self-heal is a gift that all living things possess- it is fundamental to what defines life. As we move through life, we encounter physical injuries

, environmental stressors, emotional strain, and lifestyle demands that can overwhelm and impede on our body’s natural healing mechanisms. When these interferences accumulate and are left unaddressed, they lead to dis-ease. Healing processes become less efficient, requiring more of the body’s valuable resources- resources that could otherwise support a higher quality of life. Rather than focusing on symptoms that result from dis-ease, Dr. Orgel focuses on health- identifying and removing the interferences that hinder the body’s healing mechanisms. When these barriers are reduced, the body can return to functioning more efficiently and effectively, using fewer resources. As a result, vitality is renewed, function is restored, and resilience is strengthened. This often leads to better sleep, improved performance, a clearer mind, and healthier decision-making. We believe that each person is unique- not only in anatomy, but in experiences, stresses, rhythms, and capacity to heal. Dr. Orgel takes the time to listen deeply and understand each individual’s goals, challenges, and life circumstances, creating care that honors the whole person- body, mind, and spirit. Care is thoughtfully tailored to meet each patient where they are, helping them rediscover their body’s ability to heal, adapt, and thrive from within- unlocking the path to their fullest potential.

I know you will not find this research surprising, however, I still think it’s important to highlight studies that show the impact of ultra-processed foods on health outcomes.

This recent study found that cutting 20% of sugar from packaged foods and 40% from beverages could prevent 2.4 million cardiovascular disease events, 490,000 cardiovascular events, and over 700,000 cases of diabetes in the US.

This is massive for what I believe to be small changes. If we reduce our sugar consumption, we can dramatically shift the amount of chronic disease experienced in this country.
