The Tampa Tiger Bay Club is now accepting applications of our annual college scholarship - two $1,000 awards for Florida college students passionate about politics, civic engagement, and local government.

Eligibility:
✅Enrolled at a FL College or University
✅Registered to vote in Hillsborough County
✅Studying political science, public administration, communications, or related field
✅3.0 GPA

FREE SMOKE ALARM INSTALLATION!

Fire Prevention Week is October 4–10, and Tampa Fire Rescue is bringing FREE smoke alarm installations directly to neighborhoods across Tampa!

Our firefighters, inspectors, and volunteers will install smoke alarms and share important fire safety tips to help keep you and your family safe.

Reminder: You must be a resident within the Tampa city limits to be eligible.

Installation Schedule:
Monday, Oct. 5: North Tampa | 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 6: East Tampa | 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 7: South Tampa | 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 8: West Tampa | 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

Don’t wait! Registration closes Sept. 25.
