Happy Birthday to me!🎂Making it to and entering my late 30s has taught me more than I know what to do with sometimes. Us millennials are children no longer, ❤️none the less I view the ability to age as a privilege. ❤️ As we glow and as we grow we are sometimes forced to look at life from a different perspective. Things in this country aren’t “great” AT ALL and haven’t been…the advocacies you stand on matter immensely right now and won't be forgotten anytime soon….to say I’m disappointed in what I see on the timeline at times is an understatement! People I chilled with, exchanged laughs with have chosen to celebrate and advocate ignorance and bigotry , and even turn a blind eye in their “allyship”.…if that felt a tad uncomfortable…good! Many marginalized groups don’t get to feel comfortable right now including my brown q***r self! Be mindful today moving forward because empathy is very needed AND missing in this country!

This is what mid 30s looks like? Eh I'll take it LMAO Anyway joking aside just glad to be here. The obstacles were intense but doable, the lessons were bitter but necessary, the revelations were beyond heinous but also necessary, the relationships were beyond tired and old and had to change or get deleted. Ya know? Bad b*tch sh*t! LOL Oh honey, I look forward to and embrace what's next. So much has changed even within the realm of what I do as a coach and reader. I know I haven't posted much on my pages but the ideas still flood my soul. I still want to share what my brand Mystic Mikey offers and so much more! Excuse my hair babes it's been a long shadow work period! LMAO! I don't feel like I post enough what y'all think? 😂👑✨🌸...Just wanted to give my two cents..if you don't like it then please move on with your homophobic self!...Christians aren't owed anything ESPECIALLY a damn apology about the Olympics. With all the heinous acts committed by Christians, in the name of "God" and a theology, they should be the ones f*ckin apologizing! Christians will forever make things about themselves and their theology, the majority at least! The heinous audacity that it is to not only claim a theology and use it as a fact based tool, but to then weaponize it towards anyone who doesn't associate with your said theology, is just heinous and outrageous! It's like someone attacking you for not liking Snow White and preferring Cinderella instead, it's just ludicrous! 🙄... Younger generations get blamed for infecting society with narcissism while old Christians have been infecting society with such and more for centuries! Get the hell over it Christians! Well here I am grown and fabulous born on this day! Lol I look at Birthdays a lot differently now. Superficial gifts are nice (the libra in me lmao) AND so is a good ole revelation, a good ole boundary that had to be set (that brought some damn peace to my life), a relationship that doesn’t serve me anymore, a relationship that DOES serve me at this moment. What ever it may be the experiences seem to go deeper as time continues to go on. I am a “punk a** kid” no longer! lol 🌸👑✨

Things I learned in 2023:🌸👑✨
⭐️ Your boundaries do not have to be understood to be enforced. If they don’t get it, that’s their problem!
⭐️ Unsolicited opinions are not a required prerequisite nor a “rite of passage”. Meaning, if I didn’t ask for the advice I don’t need the f*ckin advice. Meaning, the conversation ain’t happening lol!
⭐️ It is ok to want AND not want connection with people, Family, Platonic, Romantic or otherwise (You’re not desperate for wanting a man lol, You’re not a bad family member for choosing your peace over blind loyalty!). I don’t have to feel shame because someone desires to project their codependency AND/OR hyper-independence onto me.
⭐️ S*x is not a competitive sport! Meaning I don’t have to prove my worth through performing s*x in a certain way in order to “secure” a relationship. I like what I like, You like what you like, bitch stay the f*ck outta my bedroom! Lol
⭐️ Not Hooking up AND Hooking up are both perfectly OK and normal, whatever your preference, people who look down on either one are idiots who are bitter, I SAID WHAT I SAID.
⭐️ People who think that certain foods and s*x lead to “demonic possessions”, “lower vibrations”, and “negative energies” attaching to you..umm bye!...because just….no.
⭐️ No form of transformation has a time limit, we are all on our own path stop f*ckin shaming people for not doing the work on your schedule. (entitled much?)
⭐️ You owe no one an explanation for choosing YOU!

Hello beautiful souls, kinda just been in hermit mode for the past two weeks (what’s new) lol. During this shadow work period I’ve reflected a lot on dating and how tumultuous of an experience it has been for me and I’m sure for many. 👑🌸💖✨

Through it all I’ve learned that the dating world is an overly cruel one where the idea of grace is severely limited. People know the economy is s**t and still judge the person working a five figure job, with a roommate, who dares to date because according to them that’s not enough to date someone. Is that what it is? Or are your inner child wounds, with regards to stability and scarcity, imposing and projecting onto an innocent party? Just a thought...

By all means manifest who you wish to manifest AND be willing to be aware of the current climate of the collective human experience.

When it comes to dating, allow yourself and the person you’re interested in more grace while still holding onto your boundaries and integral values. Rejection and lack of compatibility is OK and will happen. Being demeaning and condescending in the process speaks to a whole different issue one might have that is theirs and THEIRS ALONE! 👑🌸💖✨

In my experience and in the work I do I have found that people often confuse standards with hoops that people have to jump through in order to prove something or their worth to someone. Neither party should feel an obligation to prove anything to anyone either you vibe or you don’t and if not, on to the next it’s not a competition or race! Be willing to come as you are, don’t try to impress, just be!

I don’t particularly feel there is one secret answer to dating. It’s messy and it will trigger you but have the courage to do it anyway and allow yourself the grace of knowing that you are good enough! Love Yourself! Trust Yourself!

✨Daily reminder: Don’t ever let anyone try to tell you or make you feel, that you are not the main character of your own life! Your crown is yours, your power is your own! Go with your glow! This is your story YOU GET TO TELL IT! These bozo’s ain’t even worth the position of “extra” in your movie fire them immediately! 😌

✨Sometimes those that don’t have the audacity to embrace their own essence and face their own shadows will try to control what your truth, essence, and narritive should be. The idea of controlling YOU feels and looks better, it has less consequence for them since they’ll be able to point the finger at you when there’s a bump in the road. They are free from vulnerability, consequence and in control all at the same time. The manipulator’s ultimate dream. I’ve had experiences where people have come into my life trying to override my truth and it was an experience and lesson well learned. Draw the boundary and cut through the bulls*it!

Mikey is a fifth generation Clairvoyant/Medium with three years experience as a working intuitive. Ever since a young age Mikey has always been able to connect with the Other Side, and has had many encounters with spirit that have shaped him for the better! It was at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA) where Mikey learned to read Tarot and turn his gift into a profession and empowerment brand! After his transformational journey receiving his AOS in Transformational Psychology from (SWIHA) he then created his brand “MysticMikey”, this has helped him to help others stand in their power by not only giving readings but also through self-confidence empowerment via what he calls “embodying your inner Emperor/Empress energy”! Mikey lives to embody this, especially after his recent weight loss journey of losing 100 lbs.
