Please join us for a wonderful day in the park, celebrating Pride. This is a family friendly event. Hope to see you there!
A note about Atascadero Pride this Sunday:
We Are Atascadero Pride has rented and permitted the event area for Pride at the Lake. Our goal is to create a welcoming, safe, joyful space for LGBTQ+ people, families, allies, vendors, volunteers, performers, and community members.
Everyone is welcome at Pride. People of faith are welcome. People with different views are welcome. But harassment, disruption, intimidation, targeting attendees, interfering with vendors or programming, blocking access, or attempting to use our event space for unauthorized demonstrations, leafleting, or proselytizing will not be allowed.
Pride is not a place to shame people. It is not a place to target families, youth, volunteers, or attendees. It is a community event rooted in dignity, safety, belonging, and respect.
If someone is peaceful and respectful, they are welcome. If someone disrupts the event or harasses attendees, they may be asked to leave the permitted event area.
Our message remains simple:
Everyone is welcome. Everyone deserves respect.
We look forward to celebrating Pride at the Lake with our community.
