✨ Resident Spotlight | Amanda Lance ✨

Some people quietly step in and make everything around them better. That’s Amanda Lance.

Amanda is one of the most gifted and talented women we’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. She first began shining her light behind the scenes at our May Celebration, creating seating charts, table assignments, programs, table signs… and honestly, the list just keeps growing.

Then there are the videos. The creativity, the attention to detail, and the excellence she pours into every project are simply incredible. (Let’s just say what would take someone like me a year to figure out, Amanda seems to create with grace and ease!)

Her God-given gifts of organization, leadership, creativity, and servant-heartedness have not gone unnoticed. She has completed her higher education, and now she’s using those talents to glorify God and bless everyone around her.

Most recently, Amanda poured her heart into helping with our Ladders of Hope event. Her personal touch, perseverance, and eye for excellence helped make everything come together beautifully. She has a way of making Haven Homes look amazing—and today, it’s Amanda who deserves to be in the spotlight.

The most remarkable part? She’s only been with us for six months. Yet it feels like she’s been a faithful friend and part of the Haven Homes family forever.

Amanda, we are so grateful for you. You are a blessing to each of us, and it’s evident that God is orchestrating something beautiful through your life. We can’t wait to see what He has in store for your future.

🎉 Hooray for a wonderful evening! 🎉

What a beautiful night at Ladders of Hope! Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for every person who came, every smiling face we witnessed, every hand that prepared dinner, every voice lifted in worship, and every story of hope that was shared.

God’s presence was evident from beginning to end. Lives are being transformed, hope is being restored, and together we were reminded that He is still in the business of changing hearts and writing incredible stories.

To everyone who attended, prayed, encouraged, and supported Haven Homes for Women—thank you. You are helping women discover healing, purpose, and a future filled with hope.

🎶 “Look at what the Lord has done…” 🎶

Those may be song lyrics, but at Haven Homes for Women, they’re also our reality.

This week at our local, much-loved Celebrate Recovery, women from every season of the journey—past graduates, current residents, those in recovery, and those in our transitional homes—walked forward to receive milestone coins. Each coin represents more than time. It represents surrender, healing, perseverance, grace, and the faithfulness of God.

Every milestone tells a story. A story of chains broken. A story of hope restored. A story of lives being transformed one day, one choice, and one step at a time.

We celebrate every coin, every victory, and every woman who has chosen to keep walking the path of recovery. Your Haven Homes family is so incredibly proud of you.

We know the journey isn’t always easy, but God continues to prove that He is faithful. He is still changing lives. He is still restoring families. He is still writing beautiful stories.
