HEALTHY BREAKFAST IDEAS
I usually rotate between 3–4 simple breakfast choices around 10 AM:
• Cottage cheese with homemade berries
• Greek yogurt with berries
• Oatmeal with a boiled egg
• Avocado toast with an over-easy egg on the weekend
Simple, healthy, and delicious.
Try to start your day with 15–20 grams of protein. Protein helps you feel satisfied longer and can support steadier blood sugar and energy levels throughout the morning.
A breakfast high in refined carbohydrates such as sugary cereal, pancakes with syrup, pastries, or donuts can cause a rapid rise in blood sugar followed by a larger insulin response. Blood sugar may then fall quickly, leaving you feeling hungry, tired, irritable, or craving more carbohydrates soon afterward.
The goal is simple: combine protein + fiber + healthy fats for a breakfast that keeps you full, energized, and satisfied.
Healthy eating does not have to be complicated.
