🌟Meet the team🌟
Everyone meet one of our occupational therapists, Tonya Tait!
Tonya earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Saint Leo University and, after more than 20 years of working in healthcare, went on to earn her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2020.
During her clinical rotation at Valdosta Pediatric Therapy Services, Tonya discovered her passion for pediatric occupational therapy. After graduation, she gained experience in both early intervention and hospital-based settings before returning to the area she loves most—helping children and their families. She is excited to be part of the team at our Thomasville location, where she is committed to providing compassionate, family-centered care.
Tonya lives in Tallahassee with her husband and their two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, playing with her grandson, and creating stained glass artwork. She has loved serving families in Thomasville and looks forward to continuing to support more children in the South Georgia community.
