Ready to feel more confident, engaging, and effective in the classroom? Our updated Peer Practice Support Sessions are here to help you do just that!

This series of five interactive sessions gives MHFA instructors a chance to practice, learn, troubleshoot, and connect with fellow instructors in a supportive environment. Each session will focus on practical teaching and facilitation skills you can take directly into your next MHFA training.

Whether you’re a newly certified instructor looking to build confidence or a seasoned instructor looking for fresh ideas and opportunities to sharpen your skills, there’s something for everyone.

We're taking our Instructor Summit to the next level with a new venue, new name, and expanded content! Interested in being a part of the CHANGE? We're currently accepting applications for speakers and workshops!

The news it out! The Maryland Instructor Summit is expanding! This year we’re excited to announce the Summit for CHANGE, happening on June 12, 2025, in Annapolis. This expanded event welcomes mental health champions from all backgrounds - whether you're a professional, caregiver, community advocate, someone passionate about mental health awareness - or all of the above!

The Summit for CHANGE is built on six founding principles:
-Connection: Building meaningful relationships across Maryland
-Hope: Sharing stories of recovery and resilience
-Advocacy: Empowering voices for awareness and change
-Navigation: Providing tools to access resources and support
-Growth: Fostering personal and community development
-Education: Sharing knowledge that breaks stigma and builds understanding

Registration opens April 1st, but there's an opportunity to get involved now... We are now accepting proposals for workshop facilitators and presenters. Please apply as soon as possible, submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
