I survived. Now I thrive…and so can you!
By sharing my story, I aim to inspire others on their path to healing; turning the darkness of my past into a beacon for positive transformation. I wrote it from the perspective of my younger self; a resilient girl who lacked the insight to make sense of her world and experiences.

R. Samantha Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor whose roots trace back to the Caribbean, where her early experiences of both love and adversity profoundly shaped her worldview. Through her personal and professional journey, she has come to understand the transformative power of healin...

Happy International Women’s Day!
Remember ‘balance’ is like Barbie’s body...unrealistic, unattainable and unhealthy. Do the best you can or what you can. Stop expecting yourself to be the perfect at everything at all times. Even those who appear to have it all together; don’t. Be free to live. Be free to live your original authentic unbalanced wonderful life.

Sometimes we believe others don’t care because they don’t ‘reach out’ or visit. Don’t assume. We all get busy. This is a gift I’ve carried for many years. The person who gave it to me probably believes I forgot about it and her; but I never will. She is my friend and I am hers.
Remember: True love and friendship never dies. I know you’re busy, but take a moment to reach out to someone who has been a blessing to you.

Authenticity and honesty are two of the most significant parts of friendships. As we live and interact with others, we gain and sadly lose relationships. It's easy to blame others for your severed or diminished connections. We often edit our recounts of what happened, so we can be viewed in a favorable light. Be authentic and honest with yourself right now.
1) Admit to yourself that you shouldn't have done or said __________.
2) Next, stop presenting yourself (to yourself and others) as a victim; when you know it is untrue.
3) Do not continue to 'rewrite history' in your favor.
Truth will create a future of liberation and strength. Truth will also realign your personal insight and bless with a clear perspective.
Truthfully? No one wants to befriend a 'lie'. Right now, your relationships are being affected by the lies and dishonesty you believe you are hiding. Most people are seeing your stuff...they are choosing not to tell you.
Begin to speak, walk and interact in truth, authenticity, honesty, and please don't forget love!
