Happy (late) Transgender Day of Visibility! I have had the amazing, priceless privilege to be authentically myself, living with a gender identity that exists outside of the accepted norms of gender in our current society. Today, we remember the cultures of those who came before us who held their transgender children and family in high regard. In our history, we have been political, spiritual, and communal leaders, whether our societies have accepted us or not. We keep this history in our hearts with the knowing that a better world always will lie ahead of us, no matter how much the world will kick and scream around us.

I invite us all to take a moment of silence, contemplation, and prayer, for the souls of those who have died, whether it was for their identity, or died having never been fully themselves. May the power of every life not be lost in vain, and carry each new generation forward on the path to a better world, not just for transgender people, but for all.

Another lovely Saturday reading at Chaos and Curiosities in downtown LaSalle. Going to get some other work done, hopefully finish putting together my beginner witch lesson plan. I've got other things in the woodworks so stay tuned!
