Young at Heart Together, Inc. The Young at Heart Playgroup started in 2018, with a group of moms and their children who would meet at Life Care Center Nursing Home of Tucson.

We are a 501c3 who brings together children, their caregivers, and older adults (grandfriends) for shared play and activities, fostering meaningful connections, reducing isolation, and promoting mutual learning, respect, and community bonds. We created a community of families and residents that shared an hour each week to read, sing, dance and play! Due to the pandemic, we have had to stop our in person playgroups. However, we have gone virtual.! We now have weekly virtual playgroups and we'd love for you and your family, or school group, to join us every Wednesday for this special time where multiple generations come together to sing, read stories and share messages of hope. Our grandfriends at Life Care Center of Tucson are inviting the community for a fun, family friendly event Saturday Oct. 24th from 4pm-6pm!

Young At Heart Together will have a craft table for the community to make some spooooktacular crafts. You can take one home and make one for a grandfriend if you'd like.

This is a FREE event with a donation request:
Life Care Center is asking the community for one nonperishable item per family member to add to their food bank donation!

Registering in the link in bio helps us know how many crafts we will need to supply! Thank you.

Reid Park Zoo we will be here celebrating grandparents day from 8-12pm!

Today is the GRAND start to celebrating these special people in our lives: Grandparents!
We start tonight Trail Dust Town Tucson from 5-8pm
for our Fourth annual celebration and FUNdraiser.

Tomorrow we will also celebrate Reid Park Zoo
