What if slowing down isn’t a sign that you are falling behind? πŸ’™

What if it is the moment you finally begin to hear yourself again? πŸ’™

In a world that constantly asks us to do more, achieve more, and move faster, rest can feel unfamiliar. But when we create space to slow down, something beautiful happens.

The mind begins to quiet. πŸ’™

The body begins to soften. πŸ’™

We reconnect with the wisdom that has always been within us. πŸ’™

Deep Rest is not about stepping away from life. πŸ’™

It is about creating the space to experience life more fully. πŸ’™

This is the heart of The Relaxationist. πŸ’™

A reminder that rest is not something we have to earn. πŸ’™

It is something we can return to. πŸ’™

Something special is coming soon. πŸ€—

There is a difference between taking a break and experiencing true rest.

Sometimes we reach for things that help us escape the noise for a little while.

A scroll.
A distraction.
Something to help us switch off.

And while those moments can feel good, Deep Rest offers something different.

Deep Rest is the moment when we begin to soften.

When the body feels safe enough to release.

When the mind has space to quiet.

When we reconnect with ourselves beneath the busyness of everyday life.

This is why I love practices like Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, breathwork, and Sound Healing. They create a pathway back to a place of restoration.

Rest is not something we have to earn.

It is something we can return to.

What helps you experience true rest? πŸ’›

Choose stillness as prevention, not repair. πŸ’š

Imagine treating rest the way we treat brushing our teeth or drinking water. Not as something reserved for emergencies, but as a daily practice that supports our wellbeing.

Your nervous system doesn't only deserve care when it's overwhelmed.
It deserves care every day. πŸ€—

May today include one intentional moment of stillness, simply because you're worthy of it!
A few conscious breaths.
A quiet moment.
A gentle walk.
Five minutes with your eyes closed.

Deep rest is not something you earn after exhaustion. It is something your body and mind need to restore, reconnect, and come back into balance.

After the work.
After the chores.
After everything else was complete.

But what if rest wasn't the reward at the end of the list?

What if rest was the foundation that allowed us to live, create, and connect more fully?

This is the heart of The Relaxationist.

A place to explore the practices that guide us back into deep rest. πŸ’›

Join me for a LIVE virtual Yin Yoga + Sound Healing class on YouAligned Classes .aligned !

Yin Yoga invites you to slow down and create space-physically, mentally, and energetically.

Here's a glimpse into this class: We will begin with a short meditation and end with a supportive savasana, accompanied with sound healing to open and close the practice. The quiet pace of Yin Yoga allows your body to unwind without effort, supporting a sense of ease that lingers long after the practice ends.

LIVE classes are FREE for YA members!

If you are not yet a member you can still join me by starting a free trial or purchasing a drop-in (see my Linktree).

Class time: Tuesday, May 5 at 4:30PM PST (7:30PM EST)

Don't miss this rare opportunity to practice with me LIVE, VIRTUALLY (beyond Insight Timer) ... I'd love to 'see' you there!
