Even when we were building our tiny home from scratch, Joseph always found a way to make me laugh. This swing was our little escape from the hustle. In the middle of your hardest season, I hope you find your moment of grace today.

Chapter 3: The Porch Phase. ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒFaith isn't always a mountaintop; sometimes, itโ€™s a dark night on a porch. Moving to Jamaica was my choice, but living without a kitchen or bathroom for 4 months was a test I almost didn't pass. In that depression, I found that grace was holding me up.

Have you ever questioned a big choice?

The walls are up, but Day 4 is about the work you won't see once we're finished.

Plumbing, wiring, and reinforcing the ground with steel and gravel. It's not just a studio; it's a functional home built from the ground up .

Years after the first block was laid, the joy is still the same. ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ’ƒ Joseph and I went back to visit, and it reminded me that the best thing we built wasn't just a houseโ€”it was a life full of music and laughter.

Before the house and the building blocks, there was a simple 'hello' right here on Facebook. ๐ŸŒŽ Joseph and I belonged to the same church, but he was in Jamaica and I was in the U.S.

In December 2019, I took a leap of faith and flew to Jamaica to meet him in person for the first time. We'd already spent hours every single day talking on Messenger and WhatsApp, but this photo was the moment our real journey of grace began.

Did you ever take a leap of faith for love? ๐Ÿ‘‡

They say a house is built with boards and beams, but ours was built with hope and heavy blocks. Day 3 was the moment we saw the first visible signs of the life we were creating. Step by step, the walls are going up!

You can't build a future on a weak foundation. Day 2 was all about the steel, gravel, and cement needed to make this house a home. It was hard work, but we had the determination to see it through.

Before the 'Palace' had walls, it had roots. ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ Joseph spent weeks clearing this land by hand while we lived on a porch. This was Day 1 of our survival map.

Moving into our studio house in Jamaica was pure grace. ๐Ÿงฑ We didn't have a stove or a refrigerator yet, but we had our own walls. I remember the feeling of finally being inside after four months on the porch. It wasn't finished, but it was ours.

Survival in Jamaica wasn't always about the big thingsโ€”sometimes it was just surviving the local wildlife! ๐Ÿฆ€ Joseph was recording and laughing, but I was genuinely sprinting for my life. Even in the hustle, we found reasons for grace and laughter.
