Chapter 3: The Porch Phase. 🇯🇲Faith isn't always a mountaintop; sometimes, it’s a dark night on a porch. Moving to Jamaica was my choice, but living without a kitchen or bathroom for 4 months was a test I almost didn't pass. In that depression, I found that grace was holding me up.

Before the house and the building blocks, there was a simple 'hello' right here on Facebook. 🌎 Joseph and I belonged to the same church, but he was in Jamaica and I was in the U.S.

In December 2019, I took a leap of faith and flew to Jamaica to meet him in person for the first time. We'd already spent hours every single day talking on Messenger and WhatsApp, but this photo was the moment our real journey of grace began.

They say a house is built with boards and beams, but ours was built with hope and heavy blocks. Day 3 was the moment we saw the first visible signs of the life we were creating. Step by step, the walls are going up!
