Marian Theresa Theuret

Marian Theresa Theuret passed on July 28, 2026, in the comforting care of Aria Hospice and the Skilled Nursing teams from both Aria and Brookdale. This would have been Marian and Jack’s Sr 75th Wedding Anniversary!! She is survived by her only son, Jack Russell Jr. and his wife Beth. Also, her Grandaughter Annamarie, husband Michael and two great grandchildren, Irelynn (9) & Harrison (6) Thompson.

Marian, Jack Sr., and baby Jack moved cross-country in the snow-bound winter of 1954. They joined Marian’s parents Josephine (“Mom”) and Ralph, and her brother Joe’s family, in Tucson. After settling into their home on Hayne St., Marian worked hard at her job as a grocery meat wrapper for 35 years at El Rancho Market. There was always fun to be had at the 4th of July block parades and Sundays at Mom’s with plenty of great Italian food!!

Marian retired to the beautiful home they built in Sonoita, AZ. She made many new friends, and enjoyed the long chats they had. She especially loved going to the Gem Show!

Mom & Dad concentrated on developing a large vegetable garden, which provided some tasty additions to Marian’s cooking. Friends and neighbors also benefited from Theuret generosity of fresh food.

Marian, seemed to always be running to the next place to accomplish a task or latest craft she was fond of. While waiting with the pot simmering on the stove, she often multitasked during the day.

After losing her husband in 2012, Marian decided that she wanted to be around more company. She moved to Atria Gardens and had a very nice apartment. She was able to bring many of her “Treasures”- her beloved Oriental collection of furniture - to her new home. This gave her much comfort while having plenty of friends with both fellow Residents and the Atria staff.

Unfortunately, Marian had a series of falls which required admission to the hospital, and led to her passing.

Marian lived a full and busy life. She was independent until the very end. Her family will miss her cooking, stories, love and stubbornness. For 94 years Marian always did her best and it will always shine through the people she touched.

Richie is survived by his brother Peter (Gloria), twin sister Kim (Adam), and his loving niece Kaelin (Jarvis). Many cousins, friends, and family. Richie touched the lives of all who knew him and to know him is to love him. You will be greatly missed Richie.

Sharon Ann Snyder, 81, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026.Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Sharon lived a life marked by faith, compassion, and service. She dedicated more than 30 years of her career as a psychiatric registered nurse, caring for others with exceptional skill, kindness, and unwavering compassion. She was also a devoted member of Calvary Chapel Tucson, where her love for Jesus Christ shaped every aspect of her life. Sharon’s greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She treasured every moment spent with them and created memories they will carry with them always. She was known for her intelligence, quick wit, kindness, generosity, loyalty, and unconditional love. Her gentle strength, warm heart, and genuine concern for others touched countless lives. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, William Butts; her father, James V. Collins; her mother, Eleanor Collins (née Dunnigan); and her son-in-law, Christopher Ross. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Robyn Snyder; her son, Paul (Michaela); her grandchildren, Shawn Lemons, Christian Lemons (Jessika), Sara Schwach, Lennert Schwach, Genevieve, and Freya; her great-grandchildren, Emma, Myla, Sage, and Kylo (children of Christian and Jessika), Henry Schwach and Lina Schwach (children of Sara Schwach, and Paul Henry Schwach, son of Lennert Schwach); her sister, Patricia Joyce (Guy); her brother, Michael Collins (Beaufort); her nephew, John Collins Joyce, his wife, Kayo, and their three children; along with many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives she touched. Above all, Sharon loved Jesus with her whole heart. Her family finds comfort and peace in knowing that she is now joyfully in His presence, healed and whole. While her absence leaves a profound void, her legacy of faith, love, compassion, and selfless service will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

Pamela was born Feb. 13, 1947 in Cleveland Ohio, one of seven siblings (five girls and two boys) born to Edmund and Lois Rung. She attended Catholic grammar and High School where she enjoyed sports, especially as a member of the girls’ basketball teams and as an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan. She attended Kent State University where she was an associate in the Air Force ROTC program. After graduation, she joined the Air Force and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant working in personal affairs and personnel. During her first tour she met and married her husband, Michael Boscia, a pilot stationed at the same base. They were married on May 8, 1971 in the Keesler AFB chapel. They have five children (Christine, Michael, Nicholas and Thomas and Kathleen), six grandchildren (Hope Woods, Bailey and Casey Boscia, Talia Staal, Maximillian and Donovan Pleason), and two recently arrived great grandchildren (Stella Staal and Mila Pleason). Her deep love and devotion for them is reflected in the many hours she spent meticulously documenting their lives while crafting comprehensive albums for them. Always kind, gentle, loving, generous, and selfless, she was the center of our family. She was and still is a beautiful soul. While we mourn her passing, we celebrate and rejoice in her journey into the loving arms of the Lord.

Norbert Woolsey

Mr. Norbert Woolsey, husband of Brigitte Woolsey, son of Roger and Ruth Woolsey, died July 29, 2026 at Peppi’s House in Tucson. He was 91.

Born in Denver, Colorado, Mr. Woolsey graduated from Denver University before serving in the U.S. Army. While stationed in Germany, Norb met and married Brigitte. The couple’s first child Monika was born while they still resided in Germany. The new family of three moved to Phoenix in 1961, where their son Mike was born.

Mr. Woolsey was employed by State Farm for 32 years. After retiring in Tucson, he continued to enjoy travelling and studying family history with his wife. He also enjoyed restoring antique clocks.

He is survived by Brigitte, Mike, Alma, Matthew, Michael and Julia.

A memorial service will be held at Tanque Verde Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, new Wolf Exhibit.

Rebecca Maria Santander, affectionately known as Becky, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and an outstanding hardworking nurse passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 24, 2026, at the young age of 91.

Born in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico, later becoming a proud, hardworking United States citizen, will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, humor, generosity, strength, stubbornness, intellect, dedication, and resilience. Her giggle and smile were contagious and heartwarming. She dedicated her life to her family, friends, and her work as a nurse. She loved being a nurse and interacting with her patients so much that she worked for over sixty plus years before begrudgingly retiring. She has undoubtedly earned her place in heaven and eternal rest.

Becky is preceded in death by her mother (Amada Martinez), her husband (David), and her oldest son (Davey). She is survived by her youngest son (Daniel), her grandchildren Lupe, Monica, Michelle, Daniel Jr., Joseph, and Matthew. She is also survived by her great grandchild Jaime. Her loss is profound, but her legacy is unforgettable.

June Susan Blackman Dashiell, 79, of Tucson, AZ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25th, 2026, after a long illness. Born and raised in Goldsboro, NC, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Blackman and Barbara Maney Blackman.

June devoted her life to education, teaching at Collier and Lyons Elementary in the Tucson Unified School District. She graduated with a Master of Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and also attended East Carolina, UNC - Pembroke, UNC - Chapel Hill, and Peace College. She enjoyed the beach in South Carolina, Tar Heel Basketball, Football, her children and grandchildren, and her cats Jack and Jill.

June is survived by her two sons, Austin Dashiell (Michele) of Tucson, AZ, James Dashiell (Chrissy) of Corvallis Oregon, and four grandchildren, Jonathan Dashiell and Lauren Dashiell of Tucson, and Ella Dashiell and William Dashiell of Corvallis, Oregon.

June will be missed by all who knew her.
