Don’t forget, NEPA Gives is happening this Thursday and Friday!

From Thursday, June 4 through Friday, June 5, the Wyoming County Community Health Foundation will be collecting online donations through to support First Responders Clubs throughout Wyoming County in collaboration with Jump Start Training LLC!

Your donation helps provide students with hands-on, life-saving training opportunities, including:

✅ AED Certification
✅ CPR Certification
✅ First Aid Training
✅ Stop the Bleed Training
✅ And many other emergency response skills

These biweekly trainings and year-end certifications cost approximately $60 per student, and every dollar donated helps equip the next generation of first responders with the knowledge and confidence to save lives.

A small donation truly goes a long way. Together, we can build a stronger, safer Wyoming County while empowering local students with skills that make a real difference.

Today, we had the privilege of joining the Tunkhannock Rotary Club for one of their weekly meetings.

During our visit, we had the opportunity to share information about the CPR, AED, and First Aid training services offered by Jump Start Training, as well as discuss the importance of empowering community members with lifesaving skills. It was a great conversation about how preparedness and education can make a real difference when emergencies happen.

Beyond the presentation, I was fortunate to spend time getting to know the members of the Rotary Club and learning more about the incredible work they do throughout our community. Their commitment to service, leadership, and giving back is truly inspiring.

Organizations like the Tunkhannock Rotary Club are a reminder of what makes our community such a special place to live. Countless individuals volunteer their time, talents, and resources to support others and strengthen our county.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

As a veteran-owned business, Jump Start Training understands the meaning of service, sacrifice, and commitment to community. Today, we proudly remember those who gave everything for this country and extend our gratitude to all who have served.

May we never forget the heroes who paved the way for the freedoms we enjoy every day.

We are incredibly grateful to AllOne Charities for their recent grant award supporting the 2026/2027 First Responders Clubs in Wyoming County schools! 🚑❤️

This funding will help continue a program that is making a real impact in our community by engaging students in life-saving skills and exposing them to the importance of emergency services at an early age. In rural communities like ours, EMS is critical, and helping address workforce and volunteer shortages while building awareness among our youth is more important than ever.

Through this initiative, students may have the opportunity to learn valuable certifications and skills such as CPR, First Aid, AED use, and emergency response awareness throughout the upcoming school year.
