At MMM, we make sure we over-communicate how exercises should and shouldn’t feel.
We like to push our members hard, but never at the expense of their health. We prioritize creating an environment where members feel comfortable speaking up about injuries, aches, pains, or simply when something doesn’t feel right.
After all, we’re here to IMPROVE, not regress.
Physical discomfort, fatigue, and soreness can all be normal parts of training. But there’s a big difference between challenging yourself and training through pain—and we never want our members to feel like they need to just “grind through it.”
That’s why feedback between our members and coaches is so important.
It’s also part of what makes our group training so specialized. At any given moment, you can look around one of our sessions and see members doing different variations of the same movement, or different exercises altogether, based on their training history, abilities, and current or previous injuries.
Group training doesn’t mean everyone has to do the exact same thing.
We put a lot of thought into meeting each member where they’re at, challenging them appropriately, and helping them get stronger in the safest and most effective way we can.
