What a fun-filled week celebrating National Assisted Living Week! 🎉💦🐐❤️

From Water Wars with residents vs. staff, to co****le with our amazing volunteers, Barnyard Bingo, and getting up close with the adorable animals from Tuscaloosa Barnyard, it was truly a week full of fun, laughter, and wonderful memories!

A very special thank you to Mimi Montgomery and Warrior Waste Service for sponsoring Barnyard Bingo and bringing the Tuscaloosa Barnyard Petting Farm to our community. 🐷🐐🐴

We are so thankful for everyone who helped make this week so special for our residents and associates. Your time, support, and smiles mean so much to us!

Before they were our residents, they were teachers, scientists, bankers, athletes, bookkeepers, veterans, caregivers, leaders, and so much more.

Every face holds a story. Every smile represents a lifetime of memories, accomplishments, families, careers, and moments worth remembering.

Our “Remember When” video is a small glimpse into the amazing lives our residents have lived and the people they will always be. We are so honored to know their stories, celebrate their journeys, and remind the world that there is so much more behind every resident than what you see today.

🌷 Continuing the Fun During National Assisted Living Week! 🎨

Our residents, volunteers, and associates enjoyed a wonderful Sip & Paint session, painting beautiful tulips and showcasing their creative sides!

🎉 Kicking Off National Assisted Living Week at Water Oak Villa! 🎉

Today was Dress Like a Senior Citizen Day, and our amazing associates joined in on the fun by participating in this fun-filled week! Everyone loved seeing the associates dressed up and having a great time. 💙

A special thank you to Monica with Amedisys Home Health for bringing a delicious cookie cake for everyone to enjoy as we celebrate National Assisted Living Week! 🍪🎂

💙 Celebrating Grandparents Day at WaterOak Villa! 💙

Our resident, Billy Koon, enjoyed a very special Grandparents Day surrounded by four generations of the Koon family!

The newest addition to the family, his great-great-grandson Beau, made this visit even more memorable. Mr. Koon was so excited to have his family together, sharing smiles, taking pictures, and creating wonderful memories to cherish for years to come.

🍰🍦 Fun with Food at WaterOak Villa! 🍦🍰

Fun with food is always an exciting activity for our residents! Today, our residents had a wonderful time making easy, homemade cake pops using ice cream cones, cake mix, whipped topping, and colorful sprinkles. 🎂✨

Once their sweet creations were finished, everyone enjoyed eating their delicious treats! 😋❤️

🎈 Fun times at Water Oak Villa! 🎯

Our residents had a blast playing Balloon Darts! Everyone’s competitive side came out as they aimed to pop as many balloons as possible. Lots of laughs, friendly competition, and plenty of fun were shared by all!

We are so excited to welcome back all of our wonderful volunteers from Tide for Tuscaloosa to our community! ❤️ Our residents have had a fantastic time enjoying fun games and activities with the students, and they always love the opportunity to spend quality time together.

A special thank you to Brandy from ProHealth for bringing Ollie by for some much-loved pet therapy! 🐾 Ollie certainly brought plenty of smiles and joy to our residents.
