Jenzy wanted to watch the game.

So we watched the game. 😂🖤

No agenda.

No schedule.

No work talk.

Just us.

Cheering at the TV like it could actually hear us.

This is what margin looks like in real life.

Not a vacation.

Not a spa day.

Just a Tuesday night with your kid…

fully present.

No laptop open.

No mental checklist running in the background.

Just here.

I used to think being a good leader meant always being ON.

Always available.

Always producing.

But the truth is…

The best thing I can do for my organization…

is show up whole.

And showing up whole means protecting moments like this one.

Build strong so you can live fully. 🖤

Watching Jenzy receive this award made me emotional.

Not because she won something.

But because I got to hear someone else describe the things they see in her.

Her kindness.

Her personality.

Her character.

Her potential.

And it reminded me of something.

Sometimes we're so close to people that we forget how special they are.

Today I got a reminder.

And I'm grateful for it.

Come share your reminder with us.

No suit. No stage. No slides.

Just me. 😂🖤

One thing I've had to learn on this leadership journey…

You can't pour from a position you never rest in.

The hoodie comes out.

The cap goes on.

And for a few hours…

I'm not the CEO.

I'm just her.

The woman who built something.

Who fought for it.

Who cried over it.

Who almost quit.

And who kept going anyway.

Leaders talk a lot about showing up for their organizations.

But you have to show up for yourself first.

Rest is not weakness.

It's maintenance.

And even the strongest organizations are only as strong as the leader holding them together.

Take care of her. 🖤

Take care of him.

Take care of you.

One thing I love about getting older is realizing success isn't just about your own milestones.

It's watching the people you love reach theirs too.

Watching your family grow.

Watching them become who they're supposed to be.

Watching them walk into new seasons.

That kind of joy hits differently.

Who are you celebrating right now?

Come celebrate with us.

He fell asleep before we even hit the highway. 😂🖤

No worries.

No questions.

Just… rest.

Because he trusted that someone had the wheel.

I've been thinking about that a lot lately.

The people in our organizations are the same way.

When the leadership is solid…

When the systems are clear…

When the culture is healthy…

People stop white knuckling everything.

They relax into their roles.

They trust the direction.

They do their best work.

But when leaders are overwhelmed…

When everything depends on one person…

That anxiety trickles down.

And everyone feels it.

Even if nobody says it out loud.

Carter doesn't know it yet…

But he's teaching me something every single day.

Rest is only possible when there's something trustworthy holding everything together.

Build the kind of organization people can rest inside of. 🖤

Every morning before the day starts.

We pray.

Together.

It's something my mom did with us growing up.

And now?

I do it with mine.

Some things are too important not to pass down.

Faith.

Gratitude.

The belief that today is going to be good…

even before you know what today holds.

There's something powerful about starting your day anchored.

Not in your to-do list.

Not in your calendar.

Not in your revenue goals.

But in something bigger than all of it.

The strongest leaders I know all have this in common…

They don't just build organizations.

They build from a foundation.

And when the foundation is solid…

Everything built on top of it stands.

Grateful for a mother who showed me how to start the day right.

And grateful for the chance to pass it on. 🙏🖤

Come build with us.

These two. 🖤

There's something about being around people who knew you before the title.

Before the business.

Before the accomplishments.

They don't see the CEO.

They just see their sister.

And honestly?

That's one of the most grounding things a leader can experience.

Because it's easy to get lost in what you're building.

The goals.
The deadlines.
The pressure.

But the people who love you unconditionally?

They have a way of reminding you who you are at the core.

Not what you do.

Who you are.

The strongest leaders I know all have this in common…

They stay connected to the people and places that keep them grounded.

Because leadership can be lonely.

But it doesn't have to be.

Build your circle intentionally. 🖤

That's my girl up there. 🖤

Costume on.

Lines memorized.

Stage presence fully activated.

I was not ready. 😂

Watching Jenzy perform reminded me of something I never want to forget…

She didn't shrink.

She didn't second guess herself.

She walked out there and gave everything she had.

Every line.

Every expression.

Every moment.

Like the stage was made for her.

Nobody told her to be confident.

She just was.

Because she prepared.

She showed up to every rehearsal.

She put in the work nobody sees…

so she could shine in the moment everyone does.

That's the lesson right there.

Preparation creates presence.

And presence?

Can't be faked.

Not on stage.

Not in leadership.

Not in life.

Go be the person the room didn't expect. 🖤

Come build with us.

Some celebrations don't need a crowd.

Just a quiet moment.

A good glass.

And the satisfaction of knowing you did the work.

There's something nobody tells you about building an organization…

The wins don't always come with confetti.

Sometimes they come at your desk.

After a long day.

When you close the laptop and finally exhale.

And think…

We're actually building something here.

Those quiet wins matter just as much as the big ones.

Maybe more.

Because they remind you that the process is working.

The systems are holding.

The team is moving.

And you don't have to carry it all alone anymore.

That's worth celebrating. 🥂
