Some conditions treated throughout the week!
Cervical Radiculopathy - Neurocompressive disorder of the cervical spine nerve roots. Symptoms may include: neck pain, arm and shoulder pain.
Rotator cuff strain - Stretch or tear of the rotator cuff tendon or muscle belly. Symptoms may include: shoulder pain, intolerance to overhead activity and pain while sleeping on the affected shoulder.
Ankle Sprain: Sudden inward or outward rolling of the foot causing the ligaments around the ankle to be stretched or torn. Symptoms may include: Pain while walking or bearing weight, swelling, bruising and pain upon touch.
Sciatica: Irritation or compression of the sciatic nerve (Fun fact: the sciatic nerve is the largest and longest nerve in the human body!). Symptoms may include: low back pain, buttock pain and leg pain.
Costochondritis: Inflammatory process of the cartilage that connects a rib to the breastbone, called the sternum. Symptoms may include: chest wall pain, pain made worse with coughing, sneezing and deep inspirations. It is very important to rule out other causes of chest pain (especially cardiac and pulmonary).
Hip Bursitis: Inflammation of the bursa around the hip. Bursitis is a very common hip diagnosis and among the most common causes of hip pain. Symptoms may include: point tenderness over the bursa, pain worse with activity and dull pain over posterior lateral thigh.
Scoliosis: An abnormal curvature of the spine. Symptoms may include: change in posture, uneven hips, breathing challenges, weakness in the back, hips, arms and legs.
