This simple balloon exercise helps rehabilitate the core and pelvic floor by using resistance to encourage deep, diaphragmatic breathing.
By inhaling through the nose and exhaling into a balloon while lifting the pelvic floor and pulling the stomach in, you can strengthen the transverse abdominis without bulging the abdominal wall.

Pelvic floor muscles that are tight, overactive or poorly coordinated can mimic classic prostatitis symptoms - pelvic pain, urgency or pain with sitting.

This condition is often called chronic pelvic pain syndrome and pelvic floor therapy is one of the most effective treatments.
