KOOTENAI & SHOSHONE COUNTY COMMUNITIES - WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are working on opening our THIRD 208 Recovery Community Center in Kellogg, Idaho, and I'm putting my feelers out to see if our amazing community can help us furnish our new space!

When we opened our Sandpoint location, we were incredibly fortunate to connect with an individual with a business that was replacing its beautiful cherry office furniture. Instead of letting it go to waste, they donated it to 208 Recovery, and we were able to provide an $8,000 charitable donation receipt!

I'm hoping we can find another opportunity like that!

Are you a business that is remodeling, relocating, upgrading office furniture, or simply clearing out extra inventory? Or maybe you're an individual with furniture or office supplies you no longer need?

We're looking for:

- Desks, office chairs, and tables
- Laptops, Tablets or Desktop computers
- Comfortable couches and seating
- Filing cabinets, bookshelves, and storage
- Conference or meeting room furniture
- Office supplies and other essentials

208 Recovery North is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and eligible donations qualify for a charitable tax deduction. We can provide donation acknowledgment receipts for your records.

Our goal is to create another welcoming, comfortable, recovery-focused space where individuals and families can find connection, hope, resources, and support - completely FREE of charge.

One business's extra furniture could help us build a space that changes lives.

If you have something to donate, know a business that might, or can help spread the word, please reach out!

Let's build something incredible together, for our community members in the Silver Valley!

BIG NEWS FOR RECOVERY IN KOOTENAI COUNTY!

We are incredibly proud to share this exciting news! 208 Recovery North has officially partnered with Northern Lakes Fire Protection District to bring immediate, peer-led recovery support directly to individuals and families in our community!

This partnership represents a significant step forward in how we respond to substance use and connect people to recovery resources.

Through our new Warm Handoff Program, first responders can connect individuals experiencing substance use challenges with trained Peer Recovery Coaches who bring something incredibly powerful to the conversation: lived experience, compassion, understanding, and hope.

We know that when someone is ready for help, timing matters. Sometimes the difference between someone continuing to struggle and taking that first step toward recovery is having the right person show up at the right moment.

Recovery doesn't always begin in a treatment center. Sometimes it begins with a conversation.

We are deeply grateful to Northern Lakes Fire Deparment for recognizing the importance of peer recovery support and embracing an innovative, community-based approach to helping individuals and families.

This is what meaningful collaboration looks like. Breaking down barriers, meeting people where they are, and creating more pathways to recovery.

Thank you to the Coeur d'Alene Press for highlighting this important partnership and helping us share the message that recovery is possible!

SANDPOINT, WE'RE OFFICIALLY OPENING OUR DOORS!

We are beyond excited to celebrate another milestone for 208 Recovery as we expand recovery support services into Bonner County!

Join us and the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce for our official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!

Friday, October 30, 2026
3:00 PM
130 McGhee Rd., Suite 220
Sandpoint, Idaho

This is more than a ribbon cutting. It's about breaking down barriers, building connections, and ensuring that individuals and families impacted by substance use and mental health challenges have access to compassionate, peer-led recovery support right in their own community.

We believe recovery is possible, there are many pathways, and no one should have to navigate recovery alone.

We are incredibly grateful to our community partners, supporters, and everyone who has helped make this expansion possible.

Come celebrate with us, meet our team, and help us welcome a new chapter of hope and recovery in Sandpoint!
