๐ Stay Safe in the Summer Heat! ๐
High temperatures can be dangerous. Heat stroke is a medical emergency that requires immediate action.
โ ๏ธ Know the warning signs:
๐ก๏ธ Body temperature above 103ยฐF
๐ต Confusion or altered mental state
๐ฅ Hot, red, dry, or damp skin
๐ Rapid, strong pulse
๐คข Nausea or vomiting
๐จ Loss of consciousness
If you suspect someone is experiencing heat stroke:

Call 911 immediately.

Move them to a cooler place.
โ
Cool them with cold water, wet towels, or ice packs on the neck, armpits, and groin.

Do not give them anything to drink if they are unconscious or confused.
โค๏ธ If they become unresponsive and are not breathing normally, begin CPR if you are trained, and continue until emergency responders arrive.
