Wow — so much attention lately!! Thank you for wanting to know more!!
I want to be very clear and transparent.
I am a very, VERY proud Physical Therapist. I love what I do, I value where I work, and my role as a PT is *not* changing.
At the same time, my clinical experience has shown me that while PT is powerful, there are areas of movement, stress, and overall wellness that fall outside of traditional medical and rehab models.
What I’m creating here is not physical therapy.
Let me state that clearly:
•I am not diagnosing
•I am not treating
•I am not evaluating
•I am not providing medical or rehabilitative care
What am I doing?
• Movement exploration and body awareness
• Stress and nervous system regulation
• Lifestyle-based movement support
Quick Q&A for clarity:
Q: Can you assess injuries, examine joints, or give medical advice?
A: No. My services will be non-clinical and non-medical.
Q: If I see you for physical therapy, can I also do wellness sessions with you?
A: No. To avoid conflicts of interest, these roles remain completely separate and will not be done concurrently.
Q: Can you talk about this during our PT sessions? I want to learn more.
A: No. Physical therapy time is reserved solely for PT care. I will run this venture outside of my regular PT practice and work hours.
What I’m designing doesn’t fit neatly into an existing category. It’s not yoga. It’s not Pilates. It’s not physical therapy. It’s not massage. And it’s not medical treatment.
It’s a space where movement, the nervous system, and self-awareness intersect to support overall wellness.
I can’t wait to keep building this space and bring GT Integrated Movement to life!!
