The residents of Durham Hensley Health and Rehab enjoyed some Bingo fun while working on cognition and fine motor skills during therapy this month.

"Mrs. Simmons came to Wesley Pines following a humeral fracture. She made exceptional progress through great motivation and determination through engagement in PT and OT in strength, balance, adaptive retraining and range of motion successfully to reach her goals to return home. Mrs. Simmons has returned home to continue to continue her progress to return to driving to “go wherever” she wants! Congratulations on a successful recover Mrs. Simmons!"

Success Story!

"Mr. Speller came to Carrolton of Williamston extremely weak, fatigued. He complained of nausea, dizziness, and lightheadedness when therapy would try to work with him. Therapy worked with nursing to find the source of his complaints. After medication changes, he was able to eat and participate more with therapy. This allowed him to be able to progress on high level balance activities and ADLs. He is now able to ambulate without an assistive device, manages his own colostomy care, and is independent with all ADLs. He gives therapists a fist bump when he sees them in the hall and thanks them! We couldn't be prouder of his success!"
