With heartfelt sorrow and compassionate care, Johnson Memorial Funeral Home announces the earthly transition of Mr. Tracey Youngblood, who departed this life on June 17, 2026, at the age of 55.

Mr. Youngblood was born on August 23, 1970, and his life was a blessing to all who knew and loved him. During this difficult time, we extend our sincere condolences and prayers to his family and friends.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by Johnson Memorial Funeral Home.

What an honor and privilege it has been for Johnson Memorial Funeral Home to be represented at the Alabama Funeral Directors and Morticians Association’s 100th Year Celebration and 87th Annual Convention in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

From the moment we arrived, it was evident that our name had preceded us. We were humbled by the countless words of encouragement, well wishes, and positive conversations surrounding Johnson Memorial Funeral Home. The support shown by our colleagues throughout the profession was truly inspiring.

This convention provided an invaluable opportunity to connect with vendors, earn continuing education hours, and engage with fellow funeral professionals from across the state. It was especially refreshing to network with younger professionals who understand and can relate to the day-to-day administration, challenges, and rewards of modern funeral service.

Over the past several days, we have learned, grown, and strengthened relationships that will help us continue serving families with excellence, dignity, and compassion.

Thank you to the Alabama Funeral Directors and Morticians Association for hosting such a remarkable event and for a century of leadership within our profession. We leave Tuscaloosa encouraged, energized, and excited about the future of funeral service.
