Last night was the 2026 Bubba Awards. Emma and Elenie were camping in Vermont and Laura and Lily were doing the same in Montana. Both scheduled trips locked in well before we realized the bubbas were an option.

We both woke up to a string of texts, all with enthusiastic congratulations! We had WON Best Local Retailer 🎉…

At first, there was a bit of disbelief. Quickly followed by a twinge of regret for not being there. Finished off by a heap load of love and gratitude - people actually know who we are!

Okay, here’s my last post about the Bubbas. We’ve got today and tomorrow and then it’s all over. Thank you to those who have voted and thank you to those who have held out through the last couple weeks. It’s been a lot.

Starting a brick and mortar business while keeping a full time job and raising a small human solo has been crazy. But I honestly wouldn’t change a bit.
