Congratulations to Pamela Rabideau RN and Casey Kariuki MA for receiving the Francine Rideout Service Excellence Award.
With 16 years of service, Pam exemplifies what it means to put patients first. She meets every person with compassion and respect, while going above and beyond to advocate for those in her care. Her teammates describe her as an exceptional nurse, trusted colleague and true team player, someone who follows through, asks the tough questions and never stops looking for ways to help.
Casey, a Behavioral Health Navigator, has provided compassionate support to patients and families, helped coordinate care across our community, mentored colleagues and consistently gone above and beyond to make sure people feel cared for, understood and never alone. Her empathy, integrity and quiet leadership make a difference every day.
The Francine M. Rideout Service Excellence Award honors MaineHealth Medical Group care team members who consistently demonstrate exceptional service, celebrating the legacy of Francine "Frannie" Rideout, a longtime employee who embodied MaineHealth’s values in every interaction and continues to inspire others to do the same.
Memorial is proud to celebrate Pam and Casey and the difference they make every day!

An era came to a close at Memorial Hospital today as Dr. Ray Rabideau saw his last patient. After almost 50 years of service to Memorial and the Mt Washington community, Dr. Rabideau begins a well-deserved retirement.
Dr. Rabideau arrived at Memorial in 1978 after a residency in Greenville, South Carolina. He was a solo practitioner in primary care for four years seeing patients of all ages, as well as taking his turn in the emergency department, as hospitalist, and in intensive care. Dr. Rabideau also served terms as president of the Memorial Medical staff and on the hospital board of trustees.
To our valley community, he shares, “You have truly blessed me for letting me be a part of your lives.”

For the second year in a row, Teddy and his friend Boyd have chosen to support the MaineHealth Memorial Hospital Golf Tournament through their "Golf Balls for a Cause" fundraiser.

By selling golf balls and collecting donations during this year's tournament at Wentworth Golf Club, the boys raised an incredible $1,010, including a generous matching donation from Michelle O'Donnell.

Thank you, Teddy and Boyd, for your generosity and commitment to giving back. You are making a meaningful difference for Memorial Hospital and our community! And thank you to Michelle O'Donnell for helping make an even greater impact through her matching donation.
