A quick (4 minutes and 20 seconds!) alternate nostril breathing session 👌

If you’re ever having the kind of day or night where your mind is racing or you’re feeling out of balance, this is a beautiful breathing technique to quiet your mind and help you come back to center.

This was the last 4 minutes of a recent class I filmed where we did lots of standing balance, arm balancing and inverting. Some days you have the balance and some days you don’t, but the idea is to stay balanced in your mind either way!

I’ve known Mary Beth since 2009 when we first opened the brick-and-mortar studio in Santa Monica. I knew right away she was so special, but you’d have to be working hard to miss that! I could not be happier to be collaborating again, the only thing better would be if we could hang out after like the good old days🥹

The world is a lot right now and if you’re having a hard time you are not alone. Be sure to take some time that is just for you to calm your nervous system, breathe deeply, open your hips, shoulders and hamstrings, strengthen your core so you feel centered, and maybe even unearth a little joy. Wouldn’t that be nice? We cannot lose our joy, hope or resolve, friends.
