Great leaders invest in their teammates, and great companies invest in leadership development.

Always fun to take the Integrity Leadership Acacdemy, created by Tom Ziglar and the team at Ziglar, Inc, on the road.

In what has become a sports theme of late for Ziglar training, it was held at Rice-Eccles Stadium (home of University of Utah football) in beautiful Salt Lake City.

I always learn so much listening to Tom and Michelle Prince speak, and it was awesome to work with Bert Newman, a pro’s pro, for the first time. And thank you to Kim Norton for the heavy lift on making the program even better.

To the leaders in the Reinforcement Track, thanks for being a great group, and may you all become the leaders you want to be led by!

New Jersey’s Innovate100 event blew me away last night.

Held at the beautiful State Theatre in New Brunswick, it was a thrill to celebrate among my fellow 2026 honorees who are all a part of in my home state.

I made the difficult decision to leave to go full throttle with in 2022.

When I told my Dad, who had worked as a sportswriter at the same newspaper for 44 years, that I was leaving to start my own company, he was incredulous.

“Did you get fired?!?”

“No, Dad. I didn’t get fired.”

A product of two Great Depression parents, he implored, “But weren’t you getting a salary and benefits!?”

“Yes, Dad, I was.”

“You SURE you weren’t fired?!”

Ha. Thanks Dad.

But just like I did in higher ed at and Seton Hall, I felt like I could add value and innovate in this other space.

The intent was to help others perform at their best when it matters the most, and to help them become the leaders they’d want to be led by.

Our innovative methods in mental performance coaching and leadership development have done just that.

Four years later, it was awesome to see the fruits of that labor, and to celebrate this honor with my friend and fellow Top Mental Game coach,

Beyond grateful to , whose heart is bigger than his body – and Rich, I think Coach Kubu would be proud that 3 of his own were there tonight.

Big congratulations to all of my fellow Innovate100 honorees!

Shout out to all the event sponsors!

And special thanks to James Barrood and his team for a truly first-class evening and for supporting innovation (in all its forms) in the Garden State!.

Great time teaming up with Tom Ziglar and the team at Ziglar, Inc to deliver 2 days of C.A.R.E. driven leadership for Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical in Nashville, TN.

The coolest part was it was held at the stadium for the - not a bad office view!

And yes, that is me doing a version of the kindergarten game 7Up - who says you can’t have fun while talking leadership?!?

Thank you to Tom for the awesome opportunity and thanks to Kim Norton for making all the magic happen!

To and the team of amazing leaders at - Rhonda White, Terry Nicholson, Randy Johnson, MBA, Mark Cheben, and so many others - thank you for the partnership, hospitality, and engagement!

Ever since starting Top Mental Game in 2019, my focus has been to help people (as John Quincy Adams once said) dream more, learn more, do more, and become more.

I believed the combination of mental performance and leadership coaching was sorely needed in today’s complex world – for athletes, leaders, and coaches.

Now 7 years later, Top Mental Game will be recognized as a 2026 New Jersey Innovate100 honoree.

Thank you to for hosting this event and for this really cool initiative, and thank you to for the nod 🫡

I’m honored, alongside my TMG teammates - Reagan Prather , , , , and
Tony Verenna – to be recognized for our efforts driving innovation in the field of mental performance and leadership coaching.

Proud to say that TMG’s concepts have helped Fortune 500 companies such as JPMorganChase, Johnson & Johnson, and Meta, to name but a few.

We’ve helped professionals in the NFL, LPGA, MLB, Division-I athletes and All-Americans, and those competing at the Olympics.

And we’ve helped leaders in the military, higher education, and even Forbes 1st ever ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ luxury ranch.

“Your talent sets the floor. Your mindset sets the ceiling.”

Excited to celebrate with the other honorees on May 13th!

Like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get with a group of Firsties in their last semester at

Once a semester, I get the awesome opportunity to guest lecture in a class taught by the Combating Terrorism Center, an organization I led from 2012 to 2018.

While the topic of my class was the efficacy of decapitation as a counterterrorism tool, it’s also an opportunity for me to put my finger on the pulse of the Academy.

Cadets, especially those closer to the end of their 47th month leadership journey, are poor poker players and will tell you like it is.

It was interesting to hear their take on the situation in Iran and the Army they’ll be joining in just a few months.

As always, the cadets impressed me with their intellect, healthy cynicism, and sense of humor.

Thanks to my friend and former colleague Brian Dodwell for the invite.

It’s my best friend’s 50th bday today.

A milestone that is worth celebrating, reflecting upon, and posting about.

Brian Lee, or B Lee as he is known, is 50 years old.

A few months ago, my daughter and I were going back and forth. She was making fun of me ( ).

On the topic of friends, Schmoops said, “Dad, you don’t have a lot of friends.”

I immediately thought of the line from the movie Tombstone.

You know the one, when the guy questions Doc Holliday, in his sickened state, on why he’d risk his life for Wyatt Earp in the duel with evil Johnny Ringo.

Holliday answered, “Because Wyatt Earp is my friend.”

Incredulous, the guy quips, “Hell, I got lots of friends.”

To which Holliday cooly delivers, “I don’t.”

and I have been best friends since January of 1991 – that’s 35 years.

This picture – one of my all-time favorites – was taken in 1993 when B Lee, myself, and Kevin Wooley walked out as team captains in our state championship game.

He would go on to have one of the best games of his life, playing both ways and on every special team, and scoring 2 TD in a 28-0 upset.

When you stop and think about it, our friendship shouldn’t have worked – he grew up a metal-head. I grew up on Jimmy Buffett.

He’s an early bird. I’m a night owl.
He has horrible taste in sports teams (e.g. everything Baahston) and I root for proper teams (Yankees, Giants, Rangers)

You get it.

Yet somehow, we make it work.

Probably because we both have similar views about the important stuff in life – family, how to treat people, and how to be a great teammate.

I believe he is the only person at Manasquan to win a state championship in football as both a player (2) and a coach (8) AND win a state championship in baseball as a coach.

In 2023, he was named the Shore Baseball Coaches Association’s Jake Landfried Assistant Coach of the Year.

In 2025, he was named Manasquan High School Teacher of the Year.

And I get to call him my best friend.

Today.

And every day.

Schmoops, you’re right. I don’t have many friends.

My wish for you is that you have at least one friend like Uncle Brian to call your own one day.

Happy 50th #22!

Is your athlete talented enough — but something keeps getting in the way?

You’ve watched them in practice. You know what they’re capable of.

But when the pressure’s on, they tighten up, get in their head, or just don’t play like themselves.

Here’s the hard truth: it’s probably not a skill problem.

It’s a mental game problem.

And here’s the harder truth: it’s not going to fix itself.

The pressure doesn’t get lighter as they get older — it gets heavier. Club tryouts. High school varsity. College recruiting. The stakes keep rising.

The good news? The mental game is trainable. Just like the body.

That’s exactly what my Ultimate Mindset Program does.

I’m Bryan Price — West Point graduate, combat Apache pilot, Stanford PhD, and mental performance coach.

I’ve spent my career learning what it takes to perform under pressure in the highest-stakes environments imaginable. Now I teach those tools to athletes.

Here’s what your athlete gets:
✅ 6 small group sessions + 3 private 1:1 sessions
✅ 3 bonus 1:1 sessions to use anytime after the program
✅ Personalized goal-setting program
✅ Personalized pre-competition routine
✅ Personalized visualization sent directly to their phone
✅ Personalized reset routine for bouncing back from in-game mistakes
✅ Lifetime access to The Blueprint — our complete online mental performance program

The next cohort starts the week of March 30. Only a few spots remaining.

Want to learn about the results? Just check out my testimonials.

All sports. Ages 13+. Capped at 8 athletes.

Awesome day spent with the executive leadership team from Insured Retirement Institute (IRI).

Great teams don’t happen by accident, and if want to build a great team, you have to invest the time and attention in leadership development.

Wayne Chopus, IRI’s President and CEO, knows this well. He’s built a high-performing executive team and wants to get even better.

Yesterday’s focus was on improving communication and trust within this A Team.

We had a fun afternoon doing a DISC workshop and a team effectiveness exercise known as the “art gallery.”

My work with IRI goes back five years - workshops and execuive coaching - and I always walk away from my engagements with them impressed with their talent and authenticity.

Great to link up with Katherine Dease again, great to meet Shani Armon, Jason Berkowitz, and Paul Richman, and special thanks to Cindy Feliconio for the partnership and help in making yesterday a fun and rewarding event!

I knew was built different when she drove over an hour through a ‘Noreaster for our first 1v1.

I don’t know if I’ve had an athlete as hungry to buy-in to Top Mental Game as she was.

Which made it all the more awesome when she announced her commitment to play for earlier this year.

West Chester lax, you’re getting a great one!

Riley, your approach to becoming the best version of yourself has inspired the other athletes in our program, and me as well.

Can’t wait to see what you do for the rest of your career at West Deptford and at West Chester!

Here’s Riley’s testimonial:

“I’ve always struggled with anxiety and confidence throughout my sports career. My recruiting summer was extremely hard on my mental game.

With Bryan’s help, I regained my confidence and my desire to play the sport I love. He genuinely changed my outlook and mentality forever.

It was the best thing I could’ve done for myself. For that I am eternally grateful for him.”

Awesome day talking org values with

A total of 6️⃣5️⃣ Russo Property Management leaders got to deep-dive into their company’s values.

But instead of death by PowerPoint, this training brought their org values to life by having breakout groups:

✅ identifying the real-world BEHAVIORS that illustrate each value
✅ identifying the best real-world STORY about a Russo employee living each value
✅ identifying one Russo employee who best embodies each value

I wholeheartedly believe 1️⃣ powerful story about an employee living your org’s values is worth 300 pages in the company’s employee handbook.

People remember stories. Not lists.

And for the employees who get nominated by a roomful of leadership peers as the embodiment of a Russo value, well, there’s no better feeling.

We also talked about leadership , thinking like an owner, and overcoming syndrome.

The cherry on top was a senior leader panel with Oscar Andia (Regional Maintenance Manager) and John Yurkow (VP of Operations) to share their leadership journeys.

And if that wasn’t enough, Russo CEO Edward Russo capped off the day with meaningful words of wisdom to this esteemed group of leaders.

Special thanks to Rebecca Rabbat, John Calabrese, and the entire team for organizing these workshops and for the opportunity to work with such a great group.

Looking forward to doing more workshops for Russo in the coming weeks!

Is your athlete underperforming because of their mental game?

Stop hoping it’ll get better. Start doing something that works.

At Top Mental Game, athletes learn the mindset tools to build confidence and increase resilience.

Up until now, these have been your likely options:
❌ hope their coach gives them these tools (hint: they likely don’t know how)
❌ hope they figure it out on their own (hint: the pressure’s only going to get worse, not better)
❌ hope YOU as the parent can fix it (hint: I do this professionally and my 17-yr old won’t listen to me)

Want a PROVEN program that gives your athlete the tools to play more loose, focused, and confident?

✅ The answer is my Ultimate Mindset Program – the next cohort which will be starting in late March.

No question, this is the most impactful program we run at Top Mental Game.

9️⃣ total live sessions
6️⃣ x small group sessions
3️⃣ x 1:1 sessions

Plus, for the first time ever, 3️⃣ bonus 1:1 sessions to be used ANYTIME after the program is over.

✅personalized goal-setting program
✅personalized pre-competition routine
✅personalized visualizations sent to their phone
✅personalized reset routine to help them back bounce afer in-game mistakes
✅Lifetime access for parents and athletes to my online program called The Blueprint

Your athlete will build confidence, increase their resilience, and improve their ability to perform under pressure.

Don’t take my word for it, read the testimonials from athletes and parents who have been through this program.

Program is capped at 8 and I already have 2 athletes signed up.

First come, first served!

All sports. Ages 13+. Hit me up for details.
