I love living the best life I possibly can. I've been in that boat of weight loss fads and taking anything i could to help me lose that weight quickly. That if i wanted to live a healthier and happier life, then i needed to take care of my body first. It would take time and consistency but i knew i could do it! I'm a firm believer that change starts in the mind. You have to change your mindset of how you see the world and your health goals in it. Then and only then will you get where you are wanting to be. Celebrating what my body CAN do today


My forever running buddy this morning helping me go at my own pace and embracing what my body CAN do and not what it can't right now in life โœจ


My gut health issues have been really weighing me down (literally & physically). But I have hope that myself and my doctor can figure out what is going on and come to a conclusion soon, because feeling like ๐Ÿ’ฉ on an almost weekly basis is no fun.


But my daily reminder is too Never focus on all the negatives in your life for that's all you'll ever see.


Instead acknowledge that they are there, accept them and then embrace all that you can do! Remember how strong you really are and love yourself a little bit more everyday for that all you can do ๐Ÿฅฐ


Can't wait for our next run together tomorrow! I forgot how much I love running with him by my side โค๏ธ๐Ÿพ

Finally getting back into the swing of lifting after almost 2 weeks and these past 2 days of hitting the gym have felt so good and ๐˜š๐˜– ๐˜•๐˜Œ๐˜Œ๐˜‹๐˜Œ๐˜‹!โฃโœจโฃ

It definitely brings back memories of when I was first getting started before kids.โฃโฃ

Not knowing what I was doing at all and feeling like I was just waisting time doing random things just to "lose weight". I hated to look at myself in the mirrors and I didn't want to look like a fool for not knowing what I was doing so I tried to find a corner to hide in so I could just workout and ๐‹๐„๐€๐•๐„. I would even simply just do cardio because weights scared the ๐Ÿ’ฉ out of me and I thought it was "๐˜ซ๐˜ถ๐˜ด๐˜ต ๐˜ง๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ ๐˜จ๐˜ถ๐˜บ๐˜ด".โฃโฃ

Having these ready to follow workout videos to focus on, my community of ladies is what honestly saved me. It helped teach me what to do in the beginning and gave me structure.โฃโฃ

I found my confidence in a gym and most importantly in myself.


I lost that feeling that I was wasting my time and seen that I could really do this!!โฃ Along with some of my own personal development work in loving myself and learning not to care what others thought that I found success and the tools I need. We are finally starting to settle into our new home here in Spain. I feel like it still hasn't set in for myself personally that we are actually here and not just on a long vacation. That we will soon be heading back to our last duty station of familiarity and that feeling of comfortโค๏ธโฃ

If you don't move a lot or if your non-military it's hard to describe. You create bonds in the places where you are, you put down roots, create a family, have children, start new chapters and end old ones. Your children have their "firsts" and you go through life lessons.โฃ

For Logan he says it'll be tomorrow when he checks in to his New Command and gets back to work. For the kids I couldn't even say because that's another stressor all on its own...โฃ

Life has been so crazy that most days I just don't know which way is up. Some days feel like auto pilot is running and we're just trying to make it through each day. I have been so out of touch that I haven't posted hardly anything.โฃ

I haven't even posted about our amazing daughter turning 6 years old, all the crazy things the military has done to us as a family, getting military legal involved, my car getting dinged up the day before leaving and even my own birthday.โฃ

My mental health and physical well-being. It is something that I know without a shadow of a doubt that I am in full control of. Moving my body helps me with my stress, my anxiety, and it helps me feel amazing about myself both inside and outโœจโฃ

A new little space went up this weekend โœจ


Even with the upcoming move happening, I still had to make this a priority to help my headstrong and fearless children with their emotions.


Self love and self care starts young.


Instill it now and create the change that needs to happen for future generations. Raising children who are so vocal about their feelings and emotions can be very challenging at time. It is very rewarding all at the same time.


It forces us to see within ourselves what we need to work on to better help them.


I will always say that a turning point in my life was finding my business because it showed me that I matter too. But having our kids really shined a light on those areas that needed an overhaul and have truly made me want to be better โค๏ธ


We're only a few days in and the kids are thriving with their new area!


I can't wait to really make it a special place when we move and make it a TOP priority no matter where we go โœจ

I can't believe so much is happening in a single month with you โค๏ธ


Last week started your very first day of kindergarten and I still can't believe that the day had officially came.


It was so incredibly bittersweet.


You are so excited but also a little worried because there was so many kids in your class. Now that you are a weekend you are thriving and already telling me everyday about your new friends and how much fun you're having in your big girl school โค๏ธ


The other day you came home so excited because you now officially have your first loose tooth ๐Ÿ˜ญ


And in just a matter of a couple of weeks you will be 6 years old.


This month is so full of new beginnings, "Firsts" and growing up! Even though you are so ready, this mama heart is still holding on to my sweet baby girl. I am loving watching you grow into this incredible sassy, tender-hearted, fearless, go get her that you are with life.

Not only with my own Gut health, the oh so amazing toddler stage, the very much independent roller coaster of emotions that come with a 5yr old little girl but also in having the green light once more for an over seas move to Rota Spain!


This means all the paperwork is flowing again, things have to be scheduled, doing all the things on top of mom life, getting things finalized and having back up plans for literally everything in less than 8 weeks ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ

All while also knowing that things could fall apart and change at the drop of a hat, ๐€๐†๐€๐ˆ๐.โฃ

It's a lot to take on mentally individually but also as a family. We have a lot of unknowns with the pets, shipping our car, selling stuff and getting our things packed up for the house. But we are still pushing strong and choosing our hard in life everyday. We are taking things one day at a time because that's all we can do.โฃ

A change in your senses can change everything!


I have definitley then I been up against my fair share of the terrific twos and all the emotions that come with an Ever So growing 5 year old little girl ๐Ÿ˜…


I have learned over time that my children are very sensory oriented and can definitely become overstimulated much easier. As well as calm down much quicker when a change in scenery and different sense is activated.


These are some tools that I have found not just with my toddler but as well as my five-year-old that helps immensely and changing their mindset as well as my own!


Not everything will work with all kids, just as with yourself it's a learn and grow process. So give yourself and them much Grace โค

I feel as if the turning point in not only my health and fitness journey started when I made this mental switch in my mindset but my whole way of living. Especially being a mom to a rumbucious 2yr old and a very independent 5yr old!


In not ignoring the all "๐˜ฑ๐˜ฐ๐˜ด๐˜ด๐˜ช๐˜ฃ๐˜ญ๐˜ฆ" negatives life has but more in focusing and AMPLIFYING the all present positives and what I WANTED to feel/see happen โค


Being a mom and having that guilt feeling that I was taking away time from my kids and feeling selfish giving a fragment of time to myself. In feeling that my time was better spent even doing household chores.


That I simply couldn't add in just 30min of self care out of 24hrs because everyone else needed me more.


I found that when I put more of my energy in manifesting/focusing on all the things the ๐‚๐€๐ go right, what ๐—ช๐Ž๐”๐‹๐ƒ happen when I chose myself for just a brief moment in my day that all of those small possibilities of what "๐˜ฎ๐˜ช๐˜จ๐˜ฉ๐˜ต" go wrong were so much smaller ๐Ÿ™
