Our Geneva facility is a large processing facility and distribution center. The Geneva facility employs approximately 200 full-time employees and 200 seasonal employees at various times thoughout the year at this location. During this period of time the plant processes canned beans and sauerkraut. The processing of these perishable vegetable products requires staffing the plant with various levels of seasonal employees to supplement the full-time employment levels that we maintain. During the non-processing season, equipment maintenance is completed by our full-time Plant Maintenance employees. The Distribution Center is a year-round operation that handles in excess of 54 million cases of product annually. This total includes Geneva production and product shipped in from other locations. The Distribution Center labels and places the product into a case to customer specifications. The product is then stored and shipped on a timely basis to our customers.
