I woke up this morning thinking of this class I'm teaching later this week. Both my sister and my mom are elementary teachers. For some reason, I fought to be a teacher, because they were. I wanted to do something different. But when I look back at my life I have ALWAYS been a teacher in one form or another.

☀I've managed a home health care company, I was an Operations Manager for a gym for many years... all where I taught and educated others.

☀I've taught and coach women with healthy lifestyle habits. ng and helping others.

☀I owned a Curves Fitness Center, where I taught personal training and group exercise classes. I have taught nutrition classes and life coaching.

☀I've taught snow ski lessons.

☀I teach and coach women with healthy lifestyle habits.

☀I've been a mentor for others getting sober and helping them navigate through life without drugs and alcohol.

So, am I a teacher? YES! In everything I do. I love to support others to feel empowered to learn, grow and be healthy. 😍

The class I am teaching starting on Thursday, Oct. 21st, is empowering yourself to learn more about the inner girl inside your mind. This class is for you if you are interested in recognizing your thinking patterns, self-talk, and how they affect your behavior.

We all have struggles in life... it's part of being human.

Some handle their stress and struggles with healthier choices than others...

Some of the non-healthier choices end up becoming the problem in the long run...

I have excessively drunk alcohol, used drugs, used food, and exercised to cope with stress and struggles. I still have vices or less healthy ways of dealing with the tough times, but I also have the tools to look at what's driving that behavior and how I deal with them.

❓How are you handling your stress?
❓Are your coping mechanisms becoming a problem?
❓Do you experience mixed emotions of guilt and shame after you "deal" with your stress?
❓How can you choose to use that stress in a productive and healthy manner?

I get asked a lot how to recognize if a belief you have is helping you or hindering you.

The answer: AWARENESS!

Be aware of your thoughts, be aware of how your thoughts make you feel, be aware of how you behave once you have a specific thought.
