I currently live in Idaho and I am a wife to an amazing husband and a mother to 2 boys. I am giving, loyal, determined, motivated, and loving. I am a health coach who specializes in essential oils, healthy supplements, non-toxic living, healthy eating, and fitness. When I’m not health coaching I’m flying (yes, I’m a pilot!) or dancing!

How does a busy working mom have time to read? You just do 10 min per day.

I loved reading growing up, but I’ve fallen in and out of it since then. It’s just too easy to turn on the TV and zone out.

However, I have noticed how much I love reading and how much I’ve missed it.

My job requires reading installation manuals….my flight training requires reading textbook type stuff…neither of which is my favorite.

Give me a fiction novel or a personal development book and I love it and will often set aside other priorities to read.

I have many goals right now and balance is non existent. You just can’t make time for ALL the things! But one priority I’m making is to read 20 min per day (minimum, obviously I will read more if given the chance). I’m committing to 10 min of a personal development book and 10 min of a fiction novel.

Sometimes our minds need that release and I’m super excited about this. Reading is a form of self-care for me that I often put off.

I’ve taken my workouts outside 2 days this week already and I’m loving it! Fresh air, bare feet in the grass, kids playing and running around…I’m loving it! Grounding while exercising, perfect world!

As many of you know, I have had a knee and foot injury since January of 2021.

It hurts when I stand too much.

It hurts when I walk too much.

I can’t dance very well.

I can’t teach Zumba anymore.

I have felt like I can’t exercise.

After a year and a half of making excuses and letting my injury control me…

After a year and a half of waiting for my injury to heal…

After a year and a half of off and on physical therapy with some relief but not total healing…

After a year and a half of this injury controlling me, I have said that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

I’m done making excuses. I can exercise!

Can I walk a mile? No. Can I do the elliptical? No. Can I do Zumba? No. And THATS OK!

I can lift weights. I can do Yoga. I can stretch. I can do Pilates.

Will I have to modify some moves? Maybe. But that’s no excuse for not doing it!

I started a Pilates and Barre type workout today and I already love it! The best arm workout I’ve had in a long time and I’m really excited to do legs tomorrow!

These elderberry tablets from have saved me this sick season! I have taken them every time I feel a scratchy throat or a stuffy nose and continue to take them for a few days after the initial dose. I haven’t gotten a full blown cold yet (knock on wood 😉)!
