One of the best ways to prepare for postpartum? Make sure future you has food. 🙌
Batch cooking a few meals during pregnancy means that when baby is here and you’re running on little sleep, you can pull something from the freezer, heat it up, and have a nourishing meal without having to figure out what to cook.
SAVE this one for your postpartum freezer stash:
Greek Sliders + Greek Salad + Roasted Potatoes
🥩 Greek Sliders
Protein and iron rich, full of flavor, and freezer friendly.
To cook: Sauté in a skillet or cook on the grill over medium-high heat, about 4–5 minutes per side, until cooked through. Ground beef should reach 160°F internally.
Freezer tip: Cook the sliders before freezing so they’re ready to heat and eat postpartum. Let cool, then place them flat in a freezer bag with parchment paper between the layers.
🥗 Greek Salad
Fresh veggies add fiber, vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients to round out the meal. Don’t have time to make this in postpartum? Grab a bag of bagged salad.
🥔 Roasted Potatoes
Add a satisfying source of carbohydrates to help make this a filling, balanced meal. You can also roast bite-sized potatoes in the oven at 425, covered with oil, salt, garlic, pepper, and lemon juice. A microwaved baked potato is an even quicker option.
Food is Part of Postpartum Care. This is exactly the kind of food we love making for our postpartum families: nourishing, satisfying, practical, and actually tasty.
And meal support can happen before or after baby arrives.
During pregnancy, we can help you meal prep and build your postpartum freezer stash.
Once baby is here, meal prep can also be part of our daytime postpartum support. While we’re there helping with baby care, feeding support, rest, laundry, dishes, and the general flow of your home, we can get a nourishing meal on the table too.
Because feeding yourself shouldn’t become one more thing you have to figure out while caring for a newborn. 🤍
