Where are my Morgan fans at?

I was so close to going to tonight’s show, but unfortunately it didn’t work out. So I’ll be over here blasting Morgan all day and managing my FOMO.

I honestly can’t pick a favorite because I love so many of his songs, but this one is definitely up there.

Happy Friday and happy last weekend of the tour! ❤️

What’s your favorite Morgan Wallen song? I swear mine changes every week bc they are all so good!

Some of the things I’ve eaten over the past few weeks while finally seeing the scale drop and the muscles pop…at 49. 🙌🏼

(After being stuck in a plateau for a couple of years.)

There wasn’t one magic food. There wasn’t one “perfect” week.

There were meals out.
Ice cream.
Carbs.
Family dinners.
Healthy choices.
Less healthy choices.

But I stayed consistent with the 80/20 rule and stopped obsessing with chasing perfection.

At 49, I’m feeling strong and fit and full of good energy, and it’s a good reminder that you can enjoy all the things you love and still make progress.

You just need a plan that’s flexible.

If you’d like to know what’s been working for me, comment SUMMER and I’ll send you the info! 🙌🏽

I think I just made my new favorite protein iced coffee.
☕🤎

…and my refrigerator decided to expose my ADHD halfway through filming bcI left it open again. 😂 If you know, you know, with the fridge and cabinets…

This coffee was so simple:
☕ Leftover coffee from yesterday
🧊 Nugget ice (without another appliance taking up counter space!)
🤎 Toasted Marshmallow Nutpods
💪🏽 Half a scoop of dairy-free protein for an easy 10g protein boost

It tastes like a coffee shop drink, takes about a minute to make, and might become my new morning obsession.

Who needs Starbucks? 😉

If you want links to everything I used (the nugget ice trays, mason jar, creamer, protein, and more), comment SHOP and I’ll send them over!

Swipe through for our latest Costco Haul! As a mom of two and a macro, nutrition & fitness coach, we are always balancing our shopping trips with mostly whole foods and some fun foods, so that we get things at the whole family enjoys while also focusing our health!

Finally our location has a cottage cheese option and 4% small curd is my favorite!

I usually make my own Tzatziki but this is good and easy so I grabbed one! (I had tried it at a family member’s house).

I love these - great flavor and easy as part of a quick heat up meal!

Never leave without at least one container of Greek yogurt and I love that this is whole milk - it is packed w protein and contains healthy fat to keep you satisfied (and a great sub for sour cream too)

We use these for many things - I will cut the tops off and then stuff them with cottage cheese and everything but the bagel seasoning, you can dip them in tzatziki or hummus, we use them for sheet pan fajitas and stirfry. You can also freeze them to have them on hand for cooking, but we usually go through them so fast that we don’t get to freeze them!

I swear Costco has the best summer Peaches!!!!

I call these liquid egg whites protein liquid gold and I go through them like crazy!

Another staple for those nights where we want a quick easy meal (I posted a reel recently using these and the chicken sausages)

Frozen berries are a great way to keep berries on the hand without worrying about them spoiling, you can get in your fiber fix, and they are safe to eat during whatever this strange parasite situation is going on!

We always get a snacks for the kids and of course they wanna have their Oreos and other fun foods which we do get, but I also find swaps for a healthier alternatives for as many items as I can (balance)! - these were a win!

I haven’t cut into this watermelon yet, but they say if there’s a big yellow spot it’s gonna be sweet and juicy, let’s see! You can’t beat the price!

Sometimes it’s a two cart trip… but in my defense, I did get a palm tree for the deck and we got toilet paper and paper towels, which takes up a big part of one of the carts.

Lucky for me when we get home my husband helps to put a

SAVE THIS for the night when you don’t want to cook… but everyone still needs to eat!

This is one of those dinners we have on repeat because the whole family eats it, it’s delicious, and it requires almost no thought. You’re basically just heating up a few things and putting them together.

Here’s what we do:

🍝 Cook your favorite pasta

🥒 I always keep zoodles in the freezer and mix them with my portion of pasta for more volume and fiber. My family usually just eats the regular pasta, but I may try again mixing some into theirs next time too 👀

🍅 For the sauce, I blend:
• Victoria White Linen Marinara Victoria Fine Foods
• Cottage cheese

That’s it. It makes the sauce creamy and bumps up the protein without having to make a separate meal.

For protein, we do:
• Chicken meatballs Amylu Foods
• Chicken sausage Costco

I throw both in the air fryer at the same time then everyone gets what they want.

A couple of little shortcuts that make this even easier:

• I don’t heat the sauce separately. I pour it right over the hot pasta as soon as it comes out of the water.

• I don’t even drain the pasta. I use a slotted spoon to scoop it straight from the pot into the bowls.

Then I put everything on the counter assembly-line style:
pasta → sauce → meatballs or sausage → done.

Barely any cooking. No making separate meals. No standing in the kitchen trying to figure out what everyone will eat.

An easy dinner that works for our family and tastes REALLY good.

Save this one for the next “I do not feel like cooking” night. 🙌🏽

One thing about me… if you test me on my 80s and 90s lyrics recollection, I’m pretty sure I will win. 🏆

And if you really know me, you know this song is my JAM. I’m also pretty sure this is where my love of singing with an accent started. 🎤

But I literally cannot remember what I walked into a room for… or where my phone or keys are… multiple times a day.

Make it make sense.

Please tell me I’m not alone. Can you relate?!

What we do for the kids….it’s 100 degrees with no breeze…

but the kids wanted to go on the rides so here we are…

Can you relate!?

This started as my son’s idea for a summer party… and now it’s the snack everyone asks us to bring. 🍉💚

We thought we’d be cutting an entire watermelon into “fries” by hand until my daughter walked in and said, “Mom… don’t you have a tool for that?” 😂 Cue the vegetable chopper saving the day! (Just a reminder: those blades are super sharp, so that’s definitely a job for the adults.)

The best part? It’s refreshing, packed with protein, easy to throw together, and always disappears fast.

Watermelon Fries 🍉
Slice watermelon into fry-shaped sticks. A vegetable chopper with the right blade makes this so much faster!

Watermelon Dip
• Vanilla Two Good yogurt
• Plain Greek yogurt
• Strawberry jam
• A drizzle of maple syrup
• Mini chocolate chips for the “watermelon seeds”

We didn’t measure anything. Just mix until it’s creamy, lightly pink, and as sweet as you like!

If you need something fun to bring to a pool party, BBQ, or any Summer get-together that isn’t the same dish everyone else brings, save this one. I have a feeling it’ll become a summer favorite for your family too. ❤️

P.S. A few of my favorite kitchen tools made an appearance in this video, including the veggie chopper and my over-the-sink prep rack. If you’d like links to all of the kitchen gadgets I use and love, comment SHOP and I’ll send!
