Part 2
There are some days you wish you could bottle up and keep forever.
From the months of collecting beautiful prom attire, to hair and make-up, decorations, music, Food, sweets, volunteers, and all the details that made the day feel magical. Our residents were surrounded by people who wanted nothing more than to make them feel celebrated.
Ninety residents joined us for our biggest prom yet, and seeing their smiles, hearing the laughter, watching them dance and seeing families and community members celebrate alongside them reminded us exactly why we do what we do.
It is a reminder that age never takes away the desire to feel beautiful, loved, included, ad celebrated. And our residents deserve every bit of that.
A huge thank you to every person who donated, volunteered, sponsored, decorated, danced, sang, played music, helped our residents get ready, or simply showed up.

Join us on Friday, August 28th, 2026, beginning at 10:30 AM, for our End of Summer Bash & Walk-A-Thon at Riverview Health & Rehabilitation Center!

This year we’re adding a Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser to help raise money for our Activities Department! Our residents will be walking laps, and we’re inviting families, team members, businesses, and community members to sponsor them for $1 per lap or make a donation of any amount. Every dollar helps us continue creating meaningful activities, special events, outings, and unforgettable memories for our residents.

💦 After the Walk-A-Thon, it’s time to cool off! Bring your water gun and a towel because we’re ending the day with an epic Water Gun War! Be prepared to get soaked!

Bring your family, invite your friends, and help us make this a day to remember while supporting an amazing cause.

Every lap makes a difference, and every splash makes a memory! We hope to see you there!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to The Karaoke Krew, VFW Post 660, and the Military Order of the Cootie Pup Tent 1 of Georgia for your incredible partnership and unwavering support!

We are so thankful for everything you do for our residents throughout the year. Your monthly karaoke visits bring so much laughter, music, and happiness to our halls, and your continued support of events like our Resident Prom, Trunk or Treat, and many other activities helps create unforgettable memories for those we serve.

Karaoke is held every 3rd Monday and is open to the community!

We would love for you to join us! Whether you want to sing your favorite song, dance with our residents, or simply enjoy the fun, everyone is welcome.

Thank you to Karaoke Krew, VFW Post 660, and the Cooties for your generosity, your dedication, and for making such a positive impact on the lives of our residents. We truly appreciate your friendship and partnership!

One of the many magical moments during our Under the Sea Prom was a special performance by Brayden Sharpe, who shared his incredible talent by playing the violin for our residents and guests.
His beautiful music created an unforgettable atmosphere and made an already special day even more meaningful.

A heartfelt thank you to Aubrey Sharpe for volunteering her time and talent to create our breathtaking under-the-sea balloon arch and columns.
