🌟 Training that inspires, service that lasts.

Congratulations to Dr. Sandra Rabat, who signed her contract to continue her career with us as one of our newest primary care physicians during a celebration of our 50th anniversary.

From medical student rotations to residency training and now stepping into her role as an attending physician, Dr. Rabat's journey reflects the power of mission-driven education and community-centered care. We're proud to celebrate this milestone and excited for the impact she will continue to make for patients throughout Northeast Pennsylvania. 💙

🏌️⛳ Our fourth annual Dr. William Waters Golf Tournament is less than a week away, and none of it would be possible without the generous support of our sponsors and donors.

We are so grateful for your commitment to The Wright Center's mission of expanding access to high-quality, whole-person health services across our communities.

See you on the course on May 1! ☀️

We were honored to attend the American College of Physicians (ACP) Internal Medicine Meeting 2026 in San Francisco, joining physicians and leaders from across the country for the annual Convocation Ceremony celebrating excellence, service, and leadership in medicine. 🩺

Dr. Linda Thomas-Hemak, our president and CEO; Dr. Maheswara Reddy Koppula, associate program director of our Internal Medicine residency program and teaching hospitalist; and Sheridan Kaschak, executive administrative assistant, proudly represented The Wright Center.

The convocation held special meaning for Dr. Koppula, who attended for the first time as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians with his family by his side, a milestone moment in a career defined by dedication to his patients, his residents, and the field of internal medicine.🌟

Last week, Drs. Stephen Long Jr. and Manju Mary Thomas took the stage at the 2026 Children's Issues in a Changing World Conference, hosted by the Outreach Center for Community Resources in Scranton. They joined an outstanding group of community leaders, educators, and state officials to speak on holistic care for families and children.

We're proud to see our physicians showing up for this region, not just in our community health centers, but in the conversations shaping how our community supports its youngest members.

🌎 In the spirit of Earth Day and National Volunteer Week, our team rolled up their sleeves and got to work cleaning up the grounds at our community health centers across the region.

It’s a reminder that our commitment to healthier communities doesn’t stop at the front door. We’re grateful for every team member who showed up and made an impact. 💚

Happy Earth Day! 🌎💚

A healthy environment and healthy communities go hand in hand. When the spaces where we live, work, and grow are clean and cared for, the people in them thrive too. Stay tuned for some Earth Day action later this week! 👀

This National Volunteer Week, we recognize our board members, resident and fellow physicians, and staff who go above and beyond for the communities we serve.

From distributing backpacks and clothing to serving food and educating children, our volunteer efforts reflect the heart of our mission: delivering whole-person primary health services and building the inspired workforce Northeast Pennsylvania deserves. Thank you for all that you do. 💙
