‼️September is Emergency Preparedness Month‼️

Mark, former firefighter and current resident of Community Connections for Independent Living held a presentation last week on emergency preparedness. Residents learned life-saving skills to prepare for disasters 🌪and emergencies🔥. They had a chance to practice with a fire extinguisher and also learned to take cover in a safe place in the event of a tornado.

The presentation was topped off with an ice cream social 🍦.
