Tonic True Nature (2026)

Tonic is a pop-up, traveling "happier hour" where the wellness crowd is gathering to connect, network, learn, and unwind consciously. Each event will feature a new collection of local "talent" and artists and feature a themed "playshop" at the start. Playshops range from art classes, to yoga nidra (relaxing and restorative yoga), to laughter meditation, to psychotherapy, to nature and adventure workshops, to educational wellness talks. Each playshop will be 30 minutes, followed by time to enjoy music, dance, and peruse wellness arts and refreshments. Our menu changes seasonally as we connect to the land around us and is rooted in the tree waters that flow freely in the Spring. We also partner with local farmers and herbalists to create foods and drinks that are deeply healing and interesting! As teachers, we work with local schools on tree tap and stewardship programs, empowering our youth to use their voices to create the change that is needed. We participated in the Bellbrook Farmers Market in the heart of downtown yesterday during Music Nights in the Old Village, a wonderful community tradition with some of the best musicians around!

The Bellbrook Farmers Market will test out two more locations this season before resting until next year! Where will they land?

It’s been a lot of fun to be part of bringing this community tradition back to town!

Next week we will be at the Bellbrook Methodist Church and the following will be at The Blueberry Cafe.

We had such a great time at the Bellbrook Farmers Market tonight. 💛

We served drinks made with house-made syrups using herbs from our Bellbrook Community Garden, along with maple syrup from the Bellbrook Sugar Maple Festival community boil. It felt really special to bring something to the market that was truly grown and made right here in our community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, tried a drink, shared an idea, or just came over to say hi. So many great vendors and so many good connections made tonight. We’re already looking forward to next week!

Next Friday, the market moves to the United Methodist Church. The Bellbrook Farmers Market steering committee is trying out four different locations this season as part of the bigger effort to make Bellbrook more walkable and connected. The hope is to choose a consistent home for the market next year, so come out, support it, and be part of figuring out what works best for our town.

And Bellbrook was BUSY tonight with art and music at Bellbrook Park, the photography gallery open, a cigar lounge at Bellbrook Brewing Company and the farmers market… so much happening all around town.

We have some really good things happening this weekend. Here’s where we’ll 🐝

This weekend, we’re welcoming Real Human Performance to the One Earth Collaborative + River House for a Nervous System Resilience Retreat—a full day of slowing down and taking care of yourself with nourishing food, movement, time by the river, nature, and community. Stay tuned for more offerings through the Fall!

Our Forage and Float Series with Yak Shack continues this Sunday. Lindsey will lead us in the making of elderberry syrup at the Riverhouse from some of the berries we foraged on our last experience with Marielle McIntosh.

And we’re also bringing the Tonic True Nature Bar to the Bellbrook Farmers Market for the first time! Come find us, say hi, and try something from our seasonal nature-inspired drink menu. We’ll share the menu here too. 🌼🥤

A really sweet weekend of wellness, nature, and community. Hope to see some familiar faces out there!

Friday, August 21 — find us at the very FIRST Bellbrook Farmers Market making nature-inspired drinks at the Tonic bar. More market dates coming too! We’re excited to be part of this long anticipated market in Bellbrook!

Saturday, August 22 — Reignite Your Light with Real Human Performance — a full day retreat for rest, self-care and time in nature.

August 27 — Sounds of Summer: True Nature Sound Bath
In collaboration with Yak Shack, this will be a paddleboard (or riverside if you choose) meditation focused on the sounds of nature in Summer. Naturalist led, small bites from the forest will be included and time on the land at the One Earth Collaborative Sanctuary in Oregonia.

September 19 weekend — we’ll be at the Ohio Pawpaw Festival Festival sharing some true nature drinks with the Unity Wagon and Steve Areen.

September 27 — River Vibes! Our 9th year. 💛
