Day 1 of the 2026 NYSDA House of Delegates is in the books! ✔️

The day began with the Pierre Fauchard Academy Brunch, followed by the first House session where delegates came together to discuss the issues shaping the future of organized dentistry. Attendees then enjoyed the New York County Dental Society Cocktail Reception before wrapping up the evening at the Hospitality Suite. Thank you to everyone who helped make the first day a success.

Big win for New York dentistry! The NYSDA-supported network leasing bill has officially passed the New York State Assembly with unanimous support. The legislation helps increase transparency and protections for dentists related to third-party network contracts and leased dental networks. The Senate companion bill, S.7919 (Skoufis), is currently in the Senate Insurance Committee. NYSDA will continue advocating for this important legislation on behalf of New York dentists.
