"I had donated blood sporadically throughout my adult life, always thinking of it as a small way to help someone who was sick or in need. It was my little moment of giving back, something simple but meaningful. What I never imagined was that one day, Iโd be the one who needed it. In 2023, after giving birth to my daughter via an emergency C-section, I experienced massive blood loss and required two transfusions.
In that moment, the generosity of strangers became the reason Iโm still here and able to hold my daughter, watch her grow, and be her mom. Iโm endlessly grateful to every person who has ever taken the time to donate. You may never meet the lives you touch, but Iโm living proof that your gift truly saves them."
