🏈 2nd Annual Food Drive + Panthers Sunday Tailgate 💙🖤

Football, community, and giving back. 🙌🏽

I will be helping Chantelle Sauls host her 2nd Annual Food Drive, and this year we’re turning your donations into bags of food that will be given directly to members of our community during our Panthers Sunday Tailgate. 🥫🛍️

Leading up to the event, we’ll be collecting non-perishable food donations including canned goods, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, soup, beans, rice, boxed meals & more.

Then on Sunday, November 8, we’ll come together to:

🏈 Tailgate & cheer on the Panthers
🛍️ Give out bags of donated food
💙 Support our Charlotte community
🤝 Make an impact together

📅 Sunday, November 8
⏰ 10 AM–1 PM
📍 The Mint 425 | 425 W. Trade Street
✨ With support from Food Lion

Want to help? Donate non-perishable items before the event, Donate monetary contributions, share this post, or send it to someone who would like to contribute. Send any monetary contributions to Cashapp $asecretg or Venmo -Sauls

Because when our community shows up for each other, everybody wins. 💙🏈

Ever wonder what massage therapists actually spend money on? 👀

It’s definitely not just fancy tools.

The best investments are the ones that make you a better therapist, protect your body, and help you deliver an exceptional experience for every client.

For me, it’s:
✔️ A massage table that can handle years of wear.
✔️ Tools that are built to last.
✔️ Gear that makes mobile sessions easier.
✔️ Continuing education that takes your skills to the next level.
✔️ A reliable vehicle and mechanic.
✔️ Products I’d trust on my own skin.
✔️ And most importantly… investing in my own health.

You can’t pour from an empty cup. The longer I’ve been in this profession, the more I’ve realized that taking care of myself isn’t a luxury, it’s part of taking care of my clients.

Every CEU, every tool, every system, and every wellness appointment has made me a better therapist, not just for my clients, but for the longevity of my career.

If you’re a massage therapist, what’s one purchase or investment you’ll never regret making?

👇 Drop it in the comments. You might help another therapist make their next best investment.

This is what I affectionately call the Massage Drunk Face, and honestly, it’s one of my favorite looks. 😌

I see this face almost every day…it’s my favorite review. 😂

Huge thank you to Lily & Sage Massage Lily & Sage Massage for reminding me what it feels like to completely let go. 💚

People think this face means you’re sleepy…

I think it means something even better.

✨ Your shoulders finally relaxed.
✨ Your jaw unclenched.
✨ Your mind got quiet.
✨ Your nervous system realized it was safe to stop being in survival mode.

This is what a reset looks like.

As massage therapists, we’re constantly pouring into others. Moments like these remind me that receiving care isn’t a luxury, it’s part of being able to continue serving others well.

And yes… I absolutely leave the table looking blissfully confused every single time. 😂

👇 Have you ever caught yourself wearing the Massage Drunk Face after a massage? Be honest… I know I’m not the only one.

Every new level asks for a different version of you.

Entrepreneurship has taught me that success isn’t just about building a business, it’s about building yourself. The mindset that got you started isn’t always the mindset that gets you where you’re meant to go.

There are seasons that test your patience.
Moments that challenge your confidence.
Days when quitting feels easier than continuing.

But growth doesn’t happen by staying comfortable. It happens every time you choose to keep showing up, even when no one is watching.

In many ways, it’s no different than what athletes are doing in training camp right now. Every rep, every recovery session, every early morning, every difficult day is preparing them for something bigger than today.

Sending all the positive energy and good health to every athlete putting in the work this training camp. Your commitment, discipline, and resilience never go unnoticed.

I can’t wait to see what the Panthers builds this season. 💙🏈

And for anyone chasing a dream, whether it’s on the field, in business, or in life, remember this:

The next level isn’t about beating everyone else.

It’s about becoming someone your previous self wouldn’t recognize.

✨ Keep growing. Keep recovering. Keep believing.

We celebrate hustle.

We admire people who push through.

We wear “I’m so busy” like it’s a badge of honor.

But somewhere in all of that, many of us started believing that rest was something we had to deserve.

That we should wait until we’re injured.
Until we’re exhausted.
Until our neck won’t turn.
Until our back “goes out.”

What if we stopped treating recovery like an emergency response?

Massage isn’t just about getting out of pain.

It’s about helping your body recover from everything it does for you every day, whether that’s training for a race, standing on your feet all day, working at a desk, chasing kids, traveling, or simply carrying the weight of everyday life.

Recovery isn’t selfish.

It’s not lazy.

It’s maintenance.

And the strongest, healthiest bodies I work with aren’t the ones that never need recovery…

They’re the ones that prioritize it before they’re forced to.

🤍 Your body has been showing up for you.

When was the last time you showed up for it?

👇 I’d love to hear what recovery looks like for you.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably caught yourself wondering…

“Why isn’t it happening yet?”

I’ve learned that life isn’t a race to the finish line, it’s about becoming the kind of person who can sustain what they’re asking for when it finally arrives.

The delays taught me patience.
The setbacks taught me resilience.
The failures taught me humility.
The uncertainty taught me faith.

None of it was wasted.

So if you’re building a business, healing your body, chasing a dream, or simply trying to become a better version of yourself… don’t quit because your timeline looks different.

Keep moving in the right direction.

Your future self isn’t going to thank you for how quickly you got there.
They’re going to thank you for not giving up.
