You prayed for it. You saw God’s hand on it. It didn’t happen. And the first thought was “what did I do wrong?”
That question feels humble. It feels spiritually responsible. That’s exactly why it works.
“What did I do wrong” becomes “I always get this wrong.” Becomes “I’m not good enough for this blessing.” Becomes “I’m not worthy of God’s love.”
Your identity in God — stolen. And you never saw it coming, because all you did was agree with one thought that came from feeling disappointed.
Hear me: that closed door was never about right or wrong. God blesses according to His will — and His will is pushing you toward your calling. His no is direction. Not rejection.
You’re disappointed. Not disqualified. Process it at a trust level — the enemy needs you at a condemnation level. Don’t give him that.
