Memorial Day always feels like the unofficial start of summer to me.

Long weekends.
Family time.
Good food.
Slower moments.
Sunshine. (Well… supposedly)
People outside again.

And one thing I’ve learned is that wellness doesn’t need to disappear just because life gets busy or fun.

For a long time I treated healthy habits like something I had to “restart” every Monday. Can you say “Day 1”? Even though it was the 3 millionth “Day1”!! 🤷🏽‍♀️

Now I look at them more like daily support:
extra protein
hydration
movement
taking care of my energy
supporting my body long term

Nothing extreme.
Just habits that help me feel good enough to fully enjoy moments like these.

Hope you’re soaking up the last of this weekend in whatever way feels good for you.

A Sunday reset feels extra necessary lately.

Life has felt full in the best way:
work
family
travel prep
summer plans
trying to stay consistent with healthy habits in the middle of all of it

And I think that’s why I’ve shifted away from extreme wellness routines over the years.

I don’t need perfect.
I need realistic.

Things that actually fit into real life:
protein
walking
hydration
sleep
supporting my energy
taking care of my body consistently

That kind of wellness feels sustainable to me now.

Heading into a busy week, I’m focusing less on doing everything perfectly and more on staying grounded in small habits that help me feel my best.

What’s one thing you’re resetting or prioritizing this week?

Okay but a Piña Colada protein shake for summer??

I don’t even care if this sounds dramatic… I’m excited 😂

One thing I’ve been working on lately is finding simple ways to make healthy habits feel easier and more enjoyable instead of feeling like another task on my to-do list.

And a tropical protein shake situation feels VERY aligned with that energy heading into summer.

Especially because I’m trying to stay more consistent with:
protein
energy
hydration
supporting my body while still enjoying life

I haven’t tried this flavor yet, but I already know it’s about to become part of my summer routine.

Now I just need someone to hand it to me poolside 🌴

Equal parts learning… and laughing.

We’ve been diving into:
• hormones
• inflammation
• energy
• the real reasons our bodies feel different

…and also laughing a lot along the way.

Because honestly?
You kind of have to.

Sometimes alignment doesn’t come with excitement.

It comes with calm.

A feeling that things are finally lining up in a way that fits this season of life, not the one you’re trying to force yourself back into.

I’m leaning into that lately. More to come.

A few things I believe deeply:

- Your best years are still ahead of you.
- Wanting to feel and look good is not vanity.
- Health shouldn’t feel like a second job.
- You’re allowed to choose ease without guilt.

I don’t believe there’s one “right” way to do this.

I don’t believe in shame, extremes, or chasing perfection.

I do believe in:

– understanding your body

– using modern science wisely

– and building routines that actually fit your life

Aging doesn’t mean the beginning of the end.

For many women, it’s when things finally get good.

If this resonates, you’ll feel at home here.

What if you’re not “losing” anything…
but gaining discernment?

More wisdom.
Better boundaries.
Access to tools you didn’t have before.

Midlife isn’t about your life shrinking.
It’s about supporting it differently.

And with the right understanding,
this can be the strongest, clearest chapter yet.

Comment if this feels true for you.

This is a new chapter.

Same woman.
Same MD brain.
Less noise.
More clarity.

For a long time, I talked about products. But what I actually care about is progress - understanding what’s happening in your body and making health feel easier, not overwhelming.

If you’re a woman in midlife who feels like your body changed the rules…
you’re not broken.

You’re just in a new season.

This space is for simple, science-backed guidance.
No shame.
No extremes.
No pressure.

Just support, clarity and solutions you can actually live with.

If that sounds like what you’ve been looking for- you’re in the right place.

Cooler evenings, cozy blankets, and that first hint of fall leaves 🍂…my favorite season is sneaking in.

For me, fall isn’t just about pumpkin spice (though let’s not lie, I’m here for the cinnamon & apples). It’s about routines that feel grounding:

✨ Diffusing warm, cozy scents at home (or work)
✨ Making heartier, protein-packed dinners
✨ Slowing down enough to actually ENJOY it all!

What’s YOUR first sign that fall has arrived?
