Marine combat veteran Casey West spent years searching for healing through plant medicine journeys after serving two deployments in Afghanistan and a terminal cancer diagnosis.
Casey is one of the first veterans who went through the Warriors of the Unseen Truth project – and ultimately helped design it in the process.
Describing his experience with his flower essence protocol, Casey shares about learning how to "exist in the garden" – a place of beauty, softness & love, instead of the battlefield – something you don’t need to be a soldier to relate to.
It takes a profound level of mental strength, discipline & awareness to serve as a protector of a nation.
On the flip side, there is a different level of strength & capacity required to be vulnerable, to surrender, to open up space to feel emotions within ourselves & others – to allow a visceral experience of unconditional love.
Ultimately, there is nothing more important in life than being there for ourselves and for the ones we love.
We all face difficulty & intensity, whether it’s uncovering traumas or fears, experiencing sickness, aging, death, transitions, heartbreak, grief, loss.
We can’t stop the intensity, but we can face it with courage & softness.
We can look in the eyes of our greatest fears with warrior-like strength and flower-like softness.
We can get real, expand our capacity to hold the messiness of life, and in doing so –
We can more deeply experience the profound beauty that life has to offer.
