The Villas of Holly Brook in Effingham is pet friendly and today is National Cat Day!

Here are a couple pictures of our sweet friend Linda and her pets Buddy and Livie Belle. They had a rough day yesterday going to the vet so they were not too interested in pictures but we didn’t want to let the day get away without sharing how pretty they are.

Congratulations to 2 of our night shift care partners, Jasmine and Marie. They show up while the rest of us are sleeping ready to work. They keep the building secure, clean up messes and are here if a residents calls for them during the night.

These ladies were nominated to be our July employee of the month, WOW program winners because of their thoughtfulness in making one of our residents feel extra special on her birthday.

Thank you to our wonderful therapy partners Empower Me Therapy, they hosted an afternoon of root beer floats and lots of laughter for our residents. You can guarantee anytime Empower Me therapy is involved there’s going to be more than just stretching and exercises involved. This group of gals definitely keep us on our toes. If you’ve not seen or heard their morning stretch activities, you definitely should come check it out. Makes me tired just watching them. But more than just the stretches there’s laughter, genuine caring, and love for all of our residents. Thanks for a fun afternoon to Amy and her group!!
