Getting outside with the Trail Sisters Catskills and met a few really cool folks along the way! This lovely mushroom forager/teacher took the time to share with us some great info on the mushis he was looking out for and just the beautiful abundance that the offer! Then we met podcaster Inside The Line: The Catskill Mountains Podcast hiking up to do some awesome trail maintenance! Way to go! on a beautiful cool sunday!

Last night we had a fantistic time Catskills Visitor Center with Carla Rhodes and her talk and show about these amazing and wonderous underdogs… Moths! week is here and My family and I learned so much about these mysterious creatures! We learned that and a great way to learn and engage with the natural world. We opened up our iNaturalist app to take photos of our sightings and under an hour learned that there are some really cool unique ones right here in the catskills! Thank you so much to the Catskills visitor center for hosting programs like these and for helping to preserve and restore lands throughout this beautiful region. We are so lucky to have you!

Thanks Montauk for an amazing couple of days! With Kira Rae and new friends-now family we camped, swam, beach bummed, found shells and cool rocks, and just decompressed. When you can get into a rhythm and let the kids be kids- Making memories and magic happens! Montauk Lighthouse Camp Hero State Park ❤️

This week I spent my day off with my Massage Bestie Roisin with Equilibrium Body and Mind giving hard working folks a mini refresher while they were at work! 🪑. The gift that keeps gifting: Chair Massage-even for 5-10 minutes provides a great amount of relief to those tired shoulders, neck, forearms, and hands. It provides targeted therapy and much needed “time out” for those that work so hard to keep a company going! We not only show up woth our helpful hands- we gave out three gift baskets filled woth some locally crafted goodies! Catskill Outpost 🌲 and wefound some items that were perfect for the season of outdoors and exploring nature. We also included a small token towards Roisin O' Hare and Mountain's Bounty Massage and Wellness Services! On any average day I get to listen to, treat, and care for 5-6 clients that bring so much to the table during each session.

Today I helped a client with carpal tunnel symptoms, one new client who had been dealing with a mysterious back spasm for over a week that had her in a panic and cannot sleep, one client celebrating her entry into her 70th year of Being, a Computer warrior-turned-gardener that finds joy in bringing beauty to a space, and a social worker who just came back from a ton of traveling. All-pretty big givers in their lives-finding time to “fill their cup” by receiving some much needed table time customized just right for whatever life throws at them. Thats what this “time out for you” is all about. Make time to take care of you.

Even if its for a short walk, a moment to soak in the morning rays and hear the birds chirp. Fill that cup so you can keep going, giving, and thriving. ❤️ ❤️

Local? Check this out for your littles!!! Bring their bike and helmet. Great riding tips and properly fitted! Volunteers still needed:)

On Saturday, May 30th, from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM, we will be hosting a Bike Rodeo with AAA to teach students about bike safety and share helpful bike riding tips. Attached, you will find an information packet with additional details about the event.

We are currently working on securing a Safe Child ID station with a local Sheriff’s Department to provide an additional safety resource for families. We will also be hosting a raffle for helmets and other fun prizes, and light refreshments will be provided.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with activity stations throughout the event. If you are interested in volunteering, please send Mrs. Wiltsie a ParentSquare message. Your support is greatly appreciated and will help make this a fun and successful event.
