What does "help" mean to you? πΏ
For some, it means someone showing up without being asked.
For others, it means finally being able to ask β and not feeling weak for needing to.
For some, it's a listening ear. For others, it's a clear next step.
For some, it's permission to rest. For others, it's the courage to keep going.
Help doesn't look the same for everyone, and it doesn't have to. π€
Maybe for you, help has always felt complicated. Maybe you learned early on that needing it meant being a burden β so you taught yourself to carry everything alone, quietly, without ever asking for support even when you needed it most.
Or maybe you've never really known what help should feel like, because no one ever showed you. π
Whatever your answer is, it's worth sitting with. Because understanding what help means to you is often the first step in actually letting yourself receive it.
Therapy can be one version of that help β a space that's entirely yours, where you don't have to perform okay-ness, where being honest about struggling is not just allowed but welcomed. π
A therapist meets you wherever you're starting from β whether that's barely holding on or just wanting to understand yourself better β and helps you build a version of "help" that actually feels supportive, not burdensome.
β¨ You're allowed to define help on your own terms. Reach out to today and let yourself receive the support you deserve.
